Langur monkeys are so much fun to watch and seem to always be playing games with one another! This photo was taken in Ranthambhore National Park in India!
Being playful with our photos helps us stay interested in our works. If this wasn’t fun I don’t know if we’d be so focused or passionate about the things and or the places we choose to capture. Stay safe, have fun and share your work right here. Be kind to all you meet today🙏.
It’s easy while processing a piece of work to get carried away just to see where this processing may take us. This is a good example of how much fun you can have when the mind is open and you really enjoy the ride. Sometimes letting loose can be loads of fun. At the same time, you may develop new ideas on how to experiment. Thanks for viewing my work. Stay safe and be kind. Experiment a little. Let your hair down sometimes, just don’t forget where you left the hairbrush.😎
From my collection Green Sonnets...
I am a fan of experimental photography, but not much of accidental photography. I think going out having a project to go for, which helps you to organise your vision and your work is really important if you want to become better at what you do. It also can take longer to have a serie of photos for a collection but I personally find this a reason to keep motivated.
Yesterday morning I was waiting for a whitethroat to show, when this juvenile hare appeared on the track in front of me. It washed itself, did a forward roll and then ran towards me, seemingly oblivious of my presence. When it realised I was there, it dashed off, but then returned two more times before it regarded me as too much of a potential threat, at which point it disappeared into a wheat field.
I love hares and especially leverets, so will post a couple more portraits of this deiightful little creature.
And suddenly, I could feel a stare burn my skin, following each curve on my back so slowly, intently, undressing me...
I was tempted to turn around and say
"- Eyes linger any longer, I'll have to charge you rent."

"Listen long, long enough, you can love me
I'll be just yours, you can hold me
Even let you undress my mind
Save it, play it, watch it, then press rewind
I can give you what you need"

Yesterday, I decided to work on a picture I really wanted to surprise Adam with, not sharing any tiniest detail about it to him whatsoever !
While I was busy shooting it, he made one too as a surprise for me... 📷
And what a surprise indeed it was to realize that our brains are so connected, our minds so in sync, that out of the millions of possibilities one has when it comes to shoot a portrait, we both decided to do something in dim lights, with a bottle and a glass of wine... In the end, it's all connected, like it's meant to be ♥

Daisy with her Christmas bird, currently a favourite toy. She had been playing but stopped as soon as I picked up my camera. The photo represents her playfulness & her instinct to chase birds even though she's a house cat. Happy Caturday!

This rambunctious calf requires a lot of attention from the mother who is always nearby.

Simkha likes to play, but not alone, either with me or with the dog.
Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!
Whimsical fellow. So many woodpeckers, I just had to do a Woodpecker Week. I hope it wasn't too repetitive. I thought I could be as whimsical as these birds.
The Experiment Continues . . .
Thanks for Viewing!
This is another of the fairy sculptures, by the artist Robin Wright, that are found at Trentham gardens. The giant dandelion that the fairy (called 'Spring') is playfully swinging on is part of an installation of dandelions that enjoin this site made by Robin's daughter Amy Wright.
It's a surreal world and I wanted to buy into that with the edit. It's a much simpler edit that it may appear, I started by simply inverting the exposure to give a negative effect, I then adjusted the hue and played around with various types of blur.
I got the title from a work by Benjamin Britten - the second movement from his Simple Symphony - the music just seemed such a perfect fit for this playful fairy scene. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M66GwhA2EU
I've also provided a link to the Trentham Gardens fairytale leaflet in case you want to know more and see more normal photos of this, and the other, fairies.
A playful Golden Crowned Sparrow I got several shots of last night. I liked this one the best. Such a cute little guy!
