“The mermaid is an archetypal image that represents a woman who is at ease in the great waters of life, the waters of emotion and sexuality. She shows us how to embrace our instinctive sexuality and sensuality so that we can affirm the essence of our feminine nature, the wisdom of our bodies, and the playfulness of our spirits. She symbolizes our connection with our deepest instinctive feelings, our wild and untamed animal nature that exists below the surface of outward personalities. She is able to respond to her mysterious sexual impulses without abandoning her more human, conscious side.
The relatively newly renovated fountain at Ardenwood has a sprinkler that the hummingbirds seem to love. Glad I visited once before the hoards of photographers started showing up, getting too close to shoot the hummers (from what I was told) and discouraging other birds from coming to the fountain. Another ruined location.
No longer the magic fountain for me.

It’s sometimes fun to play around with tweaking a photo just because we can. I chose this one because it was taken in Springtime. Thanks for viewing my work. Gratitude and Kindness go together like Spring & Flowers 💐
In celebration of World Wildlife Day, I wanted to share this image of 2 playful fox kits doing what they do best ... playing, yet learning many of life's lessons ... in the most inquisitive ways. Few things are as entertaining to watch as sibling fox kits, especially when a handful get involved.
World Wildlife Day is set aside for the celebration of earth's animals and plants and this year the focus is on how they relate to the ecosystems that support life as we know it.

It has been 5 years since I came here. Every time I pass through this walkway, I would inevitably stop to take a few pictures. Captured with a Ricoh GRIII now, versus Canon G5X then. =)
Yesterday morning I was waiting for a whitethroat to show, when this juvenile hare appeared on the track in front of me. It washed itself, did a forward roll and then ran towards me, seemingly oblivious of my presence. When it realised I was there, it dashed off, but then returned two more times before it regarded me as too much of a potential threat, at which point it disappeared into a wheat field.
I love hares and especially leverets, so will post a couple more portraits of this deiightful little creature.

Langur monkeys are so much fun to watch and seem to always be playing games with one another! This photo was taken in Ranthambhore National Park in India!
It’s easy while processing a piece of work to get carried away just to see where this processing may take us. This is a good example of how much fun you can have when the mind is open and you really enjoy the ride. Sometimes letting loose can be loads of fun. At the same time, you may develop new ideas on how to experiment. Thanks for viewing my work. Stay safe and be kind. Experiment a little. Let your hair down sometimes, just don’t forget where you left the hairbrush.😎
