One of London's airports is just a few miles away. Being so close to a major hub of international traffic has led to much discussion. People are divided in their opinion, as you would expect. Leica M8, Elmar (collapsible) 4/90.

The Grumman Greenhouse is a piece of street art/public sculpture that sits in the walkway beside The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. The artist Jordan Griska bought the Grumman submarine bomber off of Ebay and repurposed it as a sculpture which encases a small greenhouse.

Went out last night and braved the elements for some night photography with the Old Man and Kajo. (read more about our excursion on my blog )

When we arrived the clouds opened nicely and I shot this image, after that they closed in and it started raining on and off for the rest of the night.

While chasing the Durango train yesterday, we stopped near a crossing and parked to wait for the train to get there. We noticed a grass runway and a plane landed. A few minutes later we noticed this plane taking off pulling a glider. I was able to take these series of shots as it took off.
