I asked a mathemetician to help me understand "what is zero?"

He said "an empty container."......then he said, "now do you want to know what 1 is?"

Placeholder Homemade Marco&Valeria

This is a placeholder description. I'm going through and uploading some old photographs from over the years that I've had buried up until now. This will be replaced with an actual title and description eventually.

The advert behind the church says "upgrade to fidelity class".

If you'll notice the name of the phone in the upper right hand corner, it's Contoso Foo. Contoso is a fake Microsoft brand that's used in all the development tools and document samples.

My first and only commission (for a friend), I forgot to take a picture of this beast before I sent it off...so I have to ask him to take a picture. In all it turned out NOT BADLY, which is something!

Somebody's decided to go high-tech, or at least high-roller and use some traffic cones to mark their spot (as you can see, the car's currently parked in the spot but the placeholders are tossed onto the lawn so they can be easily accessed the next morning. Another person who doesn't quite understand the "rules" - don't leave anything nice out. Even though this was on a nice, quiet residential street, I'll bet they're gone by tomorrow - stolen by a construction crew if no one else.

... trying to simply keep my head above water at the moment and gulping for air! I've gotten a bad cold which immediately morphed into my chronic bronchitis (hey, K. - here we go again!)

And in the midst of all the teachers-mother's day-birthday-sports team projects I've been working on I harrassed my poor computer into a nervous breakdown and it's currently in the hospital. I'm truly fearful for its very life this time -- just waiting by the phone for a call.

So. I have no access to my images or software or way to download new stuff at the moment. This old computer does little more than access the web and the monitor is on its way out wrt brightness/color so I dare not trust it. (All images are very dark and hard to see at all.) I culled this image from "unvisited" Flickr archives.

I'll check in, but mostly will be resting with my meds and steam in hopes of being clear enough for a visit to my mom in La. for Mother's Day.

Have a great rest of the week everyone!

I have a query in to John to figure out what the red and gold signs are. I think the person who goes in that half may still be alive.

Ignore this image - it's just here so that I can create new (empty) albums in advance.
