Pip and I headed up to Telemark (a x-country ski area in the Okanagan) to build a snow cave. There wasn't enough snow to build it, so while pip was digging out the cave, I shoveled snow on top of the cave. It collapsed on Pip during construction, so we gave up and slept on some pine bows. Later that night Josh showed up and rescued us with a tent. Overall: A great little adventure.

This is my daughter's very first try at doing faceups. I think she did an amazing job, especially with starting out on a tiny!
This Emu showed up at our place Sunday morning. The owner bought him (her?) recently at an auction for $20. I guess he decided it wasn't worth the trouble to load up and take home. He asked if we wanted to just keep it. So we have an Emu for the time being. I named the Emu "Pip" for no other reason other than I just finished reading Charles Dickens' Great Expectations.
Taken at the PIP Costume shoot up Brookton Highway. If you are the model in this shot and would like to have the high quality file or would like me to modify the file please flickr mail me and I'll do my best to accomodate.
