I like how Pip was willing to experiment with her material for Variation #1 Slanting Moribana – one would not usually use leaves for this arrangement because they have a definite ‘face’. Tilting the large leaf slightly forward one sees the face and the Soe leaning back as it should the face is also well displayed. Using another Strelitiza leaf for the Hikae, tearing it into a small size worked very well. Mirabilis jalapa (common name Four o’clock or Marvel of Peru) as the Jushi. Note how the colour o the buds mirror the stem in the Strelitiza.
I finally dug into my Sherbet Pips charm packs and yardage. Now onto the pinning... Again, same gray lighting.

This was a blankie that Eve(Tri-Poodle) had sent to Toby, now that Toby is a big boy he sent it to the new baby.
