i was having a cuppa at a friend's house this morning and noticed a similar title on my cup to seng's submission last night.
Pip sporting his moustache for Movember,
in honor of my dad who is living with prostate cancer.
What is Movember, you ask? From the official site:
“During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.”
Pinhole Pip uses the coat rack as a tripod to make his 20 minute exposure. I met this photographer of all places in Coney Island during the 2009 Mermaid Parade and have been a fan of his work ever since. He makes photos the old fashion way and builds many of his own cameras.
The common name of this plant is very apt. I gather that it is quite unusual in Cyprus, and that we were lucky to find it. It was twined into a shady bush by a country track in southern Cyprus.
Before accepting an absence request, supervisors can now check who else will be off on the specified days...
Pip didn't get better. He passed away this morning. I am just so shocked I don't know what to say. I am so sorry Heather, You tried your absolout best. xxx

I love Julie's glasses. I know glasses are supposed to be difficult to shoot because of their reflectiveness so I prefer to shoot them when they're being used.
I love Julie's pigtails too!
Couldn't resist... gotta have one of Pippin (aka Pip, little one, bastard cat, etc) somewhere, because he's possibly the most photogenic animal I've ever had.
Plus his eyes are insane (no color alteration).
