OK, just ONE more song....

PRECIOSA ORNELA presents the new PRECIOSA Pipâ„¢ pressed bead from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads brand.

The bead’s dimensions of 5 x 7 mm comply with the current trend for mini beads. The axially symmetric flattened shape of the small core enables the realisation of half metal coating on both sides of the bead with the resulting effect of an overall decoration. The strung beads fit together tightly and create an interlocking zip effect. Six beads connected in a circle can easily be used to create an application in the shape of a flat flower which is a suitable accessory for seed bead embroidery. Thanks to its small protrusion, this bead is an excellent accessory to the two-hole PRECIOSA Twin™ beads and seed beads, like PRECIOSA Solo™.

Pip has made it very clear that he will not be wearing girl clothes ever again. If I want someone to wear that pretty pink wig I'll have to get another puki I think.

I'll probably eventually edit out her electric fence battery box on her collar.

I didn't have a tree at all last year, because Pip was knocking everything off of every surface, even pulling things off the wall. I'm testing this tiny tree, and he's being a good boy...kind of.

Okay, this is a better shallow DOF effort ... flagstone wall in the background giving a nice rosy hue I think. Too open an aperture for both nose & eyes in focus, but I suppose it emphasizes his newly-shaven snout (and de-emphasizes his untrimmed topknot?)

Pip is less happy than Layla about having to wear a charm necklace ...

Happy 8th birthday, Pippin (Layla n' Pip). Hope you can sneak some eggnog to celebrate.

This is us last year at the beautiful Redwood Regional Park in Piedmont, California. Look forward to seeing you soon.
