Pip worn as sign of rank on shoulders until mid-60's; one for a forester, two for a senior forester and three for a chief forester.
I am finally learning a little post-processing ... this was one of my first and favorite pictures of Pip (he was 8 weeks old + a couple of days), but it had the dreaded "green eye" (doggy version of red-eye), & I finally learned how to fix it using a Photoshop adjustment layer (curves on green & blue channels) and mask.

Out cat, Pip, brother of Lana (who is nearly identical) is a young male and loves hunting......in this moment it seems he's spotted something delicious..
After a totally nutty session of chasing the leaves round the garden, he looks round as if saying what are you laughing at !
The is the quilt pattern Strawbery Fields Forever on the Moda Bake Shop site. I used one 10" square of almost of the fabrics from the line.
Pip was truly the star of the photoshoot today. She's just such a perfect size and her face is adorable. and she's so special to me because I got her from my very best friend.
She rocked this tree. She commanded attention. And she got it.
Now her outfit it so dirty I literally have to wash it!

Either feeling a bit guilty for not being part of my rescue yesterday, or not really trusting my Uncles skill in the kitchen, Little Pip insisted on cooking for us tonight.
With my mommie out and about on some company dinner, I thought it might our only way of beating starvation. After all Little Pip is an excellent cook once he manages to concentrate on the cooking and not just on banging on the pots with a wooden spoon.
After half an hour and lots of very strange noises and some loud “Pip pip!!!’s) the meal was ready.
A most delicious smelling French Onion Soup with lots of Cheese and a perfectly sliced baguette..
Chapeau Monsieur Pip :-)
