The two riders from Brunswick each deserved something here. One powered off the banking to take the lead and the other had played the long game and waited to strike. Each rider threw down for the finish line and it was a result separated by centimetres. Awesome to watch.
PRECIOSA ORNELA presents the new PRECIOSA Pipâ„¢ pressed bead from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads brand.
The bead’s dimensions of 5 x 7 mm comply with the current trend for mini beads. The axially symmetric flattened shape of the small core enables the realisation of half metal coating on both sides of the bead with the resulting effect of an overall decoration. The strung beads fit together tightly and create an interlocking zip effect. Six beads connected in a circle can easily be used to create an application in the shape of a flat flower which is a suitable accessory for seed bead embroidery. Thanks to its small protrusion, this bead is an excellent accessory to the two-hole PRECIOSA Twin™ beads and seed beads, like PRECIOSA Solo™.

Our kitty Pip. She squeaks when you pick her up so we call her Pipsqueak. Her toes are white so she looks like she's wearing mittens, thus her nickname. When we found her she was a stray. She was skinny and scared. She was literally up a tree when my mother found her. She purrs very loudly, especially in the wee small hours of the morning when she thrusts her whiskers in your face so you will caress & feed her. With eyes like hers, who could resist?
Groundbreaking for the PIP-II accelerator at Fermilab, which will power the world’s most intense neutrino beam for DUNE.
Back when you could only find charm packs of Sherbet Pips I decided to see if I could make a reasonable size quilt using only one charm pack. This measures about 45" x 56". I think I had two charm squares left over.

Stich in the ditch quilted which I regretted about 1/3 of the way through....must practice more FMQ!!!
This week none of that bath-instead-of-pond-swimmin' treachery from my mom ... I got a little waterlogged but had lotsa fun.
The Red Arrows put in an appearance at the last night of Cowes week.
I had no idea they were flying, pretty damn impressive stuff too.
Cowes week is a regatta that takes place every year on the Isle of Wight in the southern UK. All manner of yachts and seagoing vessels turn up and race around the island and the place goes bananas for seven days. Boating isn't my scene, but on the last night they have a pretty good fireworks display which you can watch from the main land on Calshot beach. So last night we packed a BBQ and met with friends down at their beach hut for a nice evening.
