Yashica Mat 124-g, my first roll
Pip. Best dog ever. Doesn't care about anything but food and just likes to sleep and lounge about more than anything. And she won't listen to you unless you earn her trust with lots of feeding, walking, stick throwing, fussing.. this dog makes you work!

Pip is all smiles and knives in the back, both from her and in hers. She has no friends but plenty of people to talk to and about. The exception are her two BFFs, Treasure and Nandi, who have all known each other since grade 4 and are like sisters.
Pip's being held by Doc Hammer of The Venture Brothers (formerly Eric Hammer of Mors Syphilitica). This was the one time I was sort of a fangirl this year; I brought my Mors Syphilitica CDs to get signed. I guess not many people know who they are anymore, because he seemed pretty surprised. (Surprised enough that he happily signed them even while the guy behind Pip grumbled that he was only meant to be signing Venture Brothers merchandise. Grats, me.)
Drat ... Sunday evening and I hadn't taken Pip's 52 weeks photo. What to do, what to do? There were a few low-key, black-on-black photos that I'd admired in the pool a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd give it a go. Used a long black skirt as my backdrop, set Pip up in front of it, and took blurry photo after blurry photo since Pip couldn't sit still long enough for the exposure. Plan B -- turn on my halogen reading lamp for some interesting side-lighting, and take a higher-key grey-on-grey photo. Given that it's now 10:30 Sunday evening I guess it will have to do.
So this is Pip. Pip is Kato's partner and was standing on one side while Kato queued for coffee. With such a distinctive look I had to go and at least chat to her and she was lovely to talk to but said she felt a little awkward about having her photo taken. As we were just starting to chat about her peircings and tattoos her friend arrived so I didn't want to inturupt their morning and took a couple of quick shots of Pip. I quite like this slightly side on shot so we can just see the panther tattoo onto her scalp - she has a matching one on the other side.
Thank you very much Pip for your time, and participating in this project and I hope you all had a good day.
