So how do you get a pin through a raindrop, or a bubble, or a glass-ball? That's quite easy when you use Welsh magic!
And indeed I did push the pin through!
But it's far more difficult to photograph the result!
So a hand-held first attempt - the second, the third, the fourth ........ weren't any better!
It's a mad world, and I'm one of the maddest in it !

UP's Pierce Yard in northeast Houston is a real-world example of a model railroader's staging yard. It's often used to stage trains to get them out of originating yards (like Englewood) until power or crews are available to get the train out of town.
Here, a light power move from Englewood rolls on the East Belt towards Pierce to pick up the cars of the MEWWC that had been staged the day before. After getting the train put together and air-tested, they'll be on their way to California.

I didn't expect to get this kind of a sunset! It's was raining most of the day. Then, for only a couple of minutes, the sky opened! You don't see it in the picture, but there was a dozen other photographers here as well, all trying to capture the fleeting moment.
This is, of course, Lower Pierce Reservoir in Singapore.
Peirce Reservoir, located at the lower portion of Kallang Valley, was commissioned in 1912. It was originally known as the Kallang River Reservoir and was renamed Peirce Reservoir in 1922 after Robert Peirce, the Municipal Engineer from 1901 to 1916. The reservoir was again renamed Lower Pierce Reservoir in 1975 after the construction of the new Upper Peirce Reservoir. It was Singapore's second and largest impounding reservoir. The maximum capacity of Pierce Reservoir is 757 million gallons.
