Went out last Saturday morning with a few mates to shoot this lone tree on a hill, just outside of Picton.
I've been wanting to try something new for quite a while, and this scene has given me the opportunity to have a go.
This may not be everyones cup of tea, and I get that.
CC is welcome here, good or bad, so feel free to comment. I ask just one thing...If its in the negative, just do it nicely...

My daughter & son & their children live in distant parts of the country, & lead busy lives, so the times when we can all get together are rare. We had a grand family reunion this summer, & this photo reminds me of something one of my writing teachers said. That every family has its own language -- like a short hand code -- based on shared history & family lore & jokes. So here's my family (almost all of them) with a new family joke, good-naturedly indulging my whim by posing on one of Durango's tilting benches.

Pictures from a snowy day on campus - Thursday February 18th, 2021. Got some more medicated pecans and hooked up two squirrels on the Diag. Some look a bit worse for wear, but we all do this year, right? A needed diversion on a rough day. Sending love and virtual hugs from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

In 1999 the British magazine, “The Oldie” published this piece of mine. To this day it is still one of my favorites. It got me thinking that I haven’t been up to a museum drawing the “connoisseurs of art” in a while. So, recently I’ve found myself up at the Musée du Louvre. Drawings to come…….
I don't really know what this is. It could be the remains of some kind of bouy from a nearby lake. Whatever it is, it's been abandoned on a disused roadside on Ferry Meadows for a long time.

One of the most famous arches in Arches National Park, in Moab, Utah.
A steep hike -- 3 miles round-trip, & rated "Difficult" by the Park Service -- was required to reach this viewpoint.
