PhotoPlus in NYC was on 24-26 Oct 2019 at Jacob Javits Conference Center. Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Best Buy and other vendors provided models for visitors trying their company new gears for testing and comparing.
The PhotoPlus Expo is the largest photography and imaging event in North America and show offers the ultimate experience in photography, film making, and digital imaging. The show features over 200 exhibitors and brands displaying thousands of the latest equipment, products, and services for you to touch, try, and compare.
At PhotoPlus, you don’t have to choose between testing the latest gear or learning new trends and techniques to develop your expertise. It all happens at once in a no-filter, hands-on experiential space over three energetic days.
Collected every copy of PhotoPlus Canon Edition since it's very first edition. Upto issue 47 now. Some might say I should read them!

Image showing the insane thin-ness of Cokin's new round threaded filters for camera lenses. This is a departure from their resin/glass filters and filter holders that they have produced in the past, and a product that very well may be winding up on my 35mm DSLR's soon.

Heading to the Photoplus Expo with Expoimaging this year. If you are attending, I'm running a shooting workshop after my in-booth Rogue Demo.
Bring an on camera speedlight as we'll use on camera as main and an off camera flash on slave mode for a second light.

A nice little spread in a UK magazine called Photoplus today. Issue 19, available at all good newsagents now! Nice to get a mention occasionally.
The two images used here are Brighton Pier and New York Times Square. They are in the 'Inspirations' section at the start of the mag.

I hate these microphones. They look so distracting. I'd have less of a problem with them if they were not "flesh colored".
