Acts of chivalry and valor happen every day in big and small ways. Discover how artists have paid tribute to guardians, warriors, and protectors throughout history. Meet American heroes in performances by Minnesota History Center players. March to the tune of fife and drum music. See swirling flags in a color guard performance, then design your own flag in a drop-in studio. Dress up like your favorite hero and snap a family portrait in the MIA's photo lab.
As I'm feeling uninspired and got into work very late. I've stolen this idea and used Photo Booth:
Take a picture of yourself right now. Don’t change your clothes. Don’t fix your hair. Just take a picture. Post that picture with no editing. (Except maybe to get the image size down to something reasonable. Don’t go posting an eight megapixel image.) Include these instructions.
So, today I woke up with my left eye and ear swollen. I have no idea why, but I am pretty sure it was a bug bite that I had a reaction too. It hurts, and I look baaadddd. Ryan still thinks I look cute though, yay!
Anyway, enjoy the swollen eyed version on me. Oh, and I haven't missed a day on this Life Long project yet! Yeah, some of the photos are crappy....like this one, but I am keeping it up! Woot!
Step into the photobooth- captures during the evening.
ZURBwired 2011: Meet Rebekah Children's Services, a bay area non-profit organization providing services to support children and families.
The ZURBwired 24-hour marathon is where our team and the team from one lucky local nonprofit get together to do something great in 24 hours. We spend the day helping the nonprofit solve a big challenge; whether it be marketing for an upcoming event, or completely overhauling their brand—and we get it all done in 24 hours.
ZURB is a close-knit team of interaction designers and strategists that help companies design better (www.zurb.com).

We got our picture taken at the Andy Warhol exhibit using the photobooth. You cut off one of the pictures and leave it on the Andy Warhol quote wall.
(This was my favourite. John wanted us to leave this one, but I wanted to keep it.)
