Das Auge

Ignoring limitations and labels. Enjoying form and colour and lines and a shift in perspective. An exciting exercise which opens up my vision and expands creativity.

Abstract dog art with a more than unwilling model.

Weird angle, I know. Imma throw it up anyway :P

O antigo Conservatório Dramático cedeu espaço para o suntuoso edifício de espetáculos de dança e música. Av. São João, 281 - Centro, São Paulo, Brasil.

Taken in Atlantic City NJ. I'm such a big fan of selective color treatment I try to stay away from it! Here I ran this image through a mild HDR process in photomatix, then I opened it in Photoshop turned the sky into B&W as well as the street and sidewalk. My thanks to all in advance for your comments.

San Francisco as seen from Pier 7

Sunset after an amazing day walk in the Blue Mountains. Possibly the best trek yet. With the climbing obsession growing I will spend yet more time in this area.

There's a couple like these and i didn't know which one i liked best so i chose this one

What I admire most about other photographers is a Unique Perspective, particularly when someone can add a new angle, twist or their own style to a spot that is so well known or photographed numerous times from the same point of view. In my own work I have tried to avoid taking the “shot” from the typical point of view. I set out this morning with the goal to photograph this tree, one of the most photographed in Knoxville, from a new angle or composition. The challenge was that I knew I had used this tree six times already in this project. I hope that when they are all viewed together they each provide the viewer with a unique perspective of this spot.

A man on the street who is selling some playing stuff for kids to fulfill his basic needs. Although its not expensive stuff but he loved to sell it for the kids and try to entertain them.

Life is beautiful if you think like so.. So don't regret about yourself. Just try to follow your heart and go forward.....!!

Ilford PanF+ 50 black and white film

My project associated with my residency at Acadia National Park has nothing to do with landscape photography, but it would be impossible to spend time there without making a few. Jordan Pond has to be one of the most visited “undeveloped” ponds in Maine - probably in the United States. It’s super easy to get to; consequently, it’s been photographed from every angle using all of today's popular techniques you see here on Flickr. Still, after taking time looking at these other images made at the pond, I decided that I might be able to provide my own viewpoint. My attempt here is to bring honesty through normal perspective, black and white film, and my all mechanical camera from 1970. I didn’t want to idealize the waterbody, but instead share what it truly feels like on that shoreline. Anyway, this is how I see it, and I don’t think I’m too far off. Welcome to Maine and Acadia National Park!

One from a lunch time walk, back in the summer.

Trying to emulate a great dog photographer (ThePack) and get some action shots

The photo depicts new built footbridge in Ustka/Poland.It was taken during a long ,sunny walk near seaside. The perspective refers to the relationship of imaged objects on this photo.Lines and shadows made by sunlight tie nature (beach and sea) with all what's constructed by people.Contrast between footbridge and sky portrays many shades of grayness. Colour depth adds spatial dimension to a photo.
