Until the end of October 2021, I am not informed which group I have been allocated to, the vaccine or saline. Frankly, nothing dramatic today. My next appointment would be in two weeks times when we all are under the second lockdown. For me, personally, I am excited to join this trial, which enables me to be feeling positive! We can survive this crisis together.
I personally prefer the "as shot" warmer lighting over the color-correct, as it gives a more prominent military feel to the aircraft.
I personally know nothing about Haggis but once while in Edinburgh had a portion to try and I did enjoy it.
Personally, I think meat is tasty, but I'll leave the politics and ethics out of this for now.
Every year, Sparks Street in downtown Ottawa hosts a rib/BBQ festival for 5 days. Perennially popular, office workers stroll from near & far to sample ribs, brisket and pulled pork.
Every year, PETA shows up to protest, because, um, meat is murder. Not that anyone was complaining.
Personally I really like this new sleeker design, granted I would have change the pearlescent parts to match their respect color.
I personally think most trees are more interesting after the leaves have left the branches. This maple is a very old one. Seen at the Otto Preserve on Lummi Island, Washington.

Personally I like this shot, it turned out a nice texture with a artistic touch. The rain drops added some life in this frame.
Personally I thought the G-TWS Olympians were some of the best to grace Devon and Cornwall, even though they were getting on age wise by the time they arrived on the whole they had been well looked after and were better than other cast offs which had come before.
Or…
A hotel corridor...
Well, feel free to choose either depending on the winds of your fantasy. Personally I think I’m going for the orbital approach...
Whatever, this is a stack of nine images processed as a multiple exposure, each rotated by one-eighth of a turn.
Aha! (I hear you say.) Why take nine when you only need eight to go full circle? Why indeed!
What do you want: a photographer... or someone who can count? Can’t have both today. (Actually, thinking about it, let’s make that last question a rhetorical one as I’m not sure I could cope with the answer…)
You can see the effect of the ninth image in the double row of receding white lights starting at the bottom of the image.
I took these because I really like the rectilinear format of the object, and the long perspective lines and disappearing viewpoints. I thought a rotating multiple exposure would be a Clever Idea.
Famous last thoughts. My itsy-ickle camera thought instead that it rated as a Dumb Idea. Every time I turned the camera upside down the little thing thought to itself: I know you're taking this upside down, Peter, but you really want to see it the right way up don’t you, so I’ll just help a little bit…
And so when I came to review the images they were all the right side up, rotated by the camera, as evidenced incriminatingly in the EXIF Orientation field.
So I then had to rotate them manually in processing (once I had worked out which were which). Well, I could have just take eight straight shots and simply done that anyway, couldn’t I? {sighs}
Grrrr...That’s the trouble with education. Teach a camera something and it’ll soon be telling you that it knows best all the time.
Of course, I’m sure I could switch this self-righting righteousness off, but I know the option will be buried deep in the labyrinthine camera menus somewhere and the chances of me finding it are slim. I’m sure no-one else has this problem... Grrrr :)
This was stacked in Affinity though you can do the same thing in Photoshop. Stacking large numbers of images like this seems to produce a soft low contrast result. Unusually, for this stack there were several stacking variants that looked interesting.
For this one I liked the Maximum stacking function version because of the leading lights, but it lacked colour and contrast so I used the results from stacking the images three other different ways (Minimum, Range, Standard Deviation), blending the results with blend modes and opacity settings (Colour Dodge and Lighter modes) to get a nice balance of colours and contrast.
Apart from the square crop I also fixed a lot of barrel distortion, and brightened the colours using Curves in LAB mode.
I’ll post a sample in-camera image from the middle of the stack, linked in the first comment, so you can see how far we came. This is one taken with the camera upside down but you can see it's now the right way up - no rotation by me :)
I know a lot of folk won’t have done stacking (though it’s easy to do with Affinity or PS) so I shall also include a compendium of the more interesting stack results for this stack using different mathematical operators - you don’t need any maths by the way, just to be able to pick the prettiest results!
Thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image. Happy Sliders Sunday!

Personally i like this photo a lot. I got all the way down to the water and got a realy low angle view of the Mallard. I also like the golden sunlit water. And most important, she didn't mind me taking som photos.
I personally like to take landscape photo with water and reflections. Take cherry blossom shot is the same thing to me. This photo has both foreground and background are cherry blossom between water. Do you like this composition?
Xmas is around the corner, and personally, I wish it was still a few weeks away, but xmas waits for noone... and hopefully the new year will be a really good one :)

Personally, I'm astonished, ASTONISHED, by how many feathers there are in one of them old pillows.
This was but a FRACTION of the feathers, we had so much more to play with after this, the first setup of the day.
This one feels a bit somber to me, but make no mistake, we had ourselves a ball.
Man, looking at the tags, I drove all the way to Rancho Cucamonga for this shoot, I sure was willing to go to the ends of the fucking earth to take some photos...hell, I ended up taking a train all over the country, same reason.
I'm really into this idea of photography as a way to generate experiences, this shoot, great example. Meghan and her friend Katie, we were out there running around...we'd never have been doing that without photography. Wouldn't have met those ladies, wouldn't have bumped into them randomly in a million years.
Though...I did meet another future model randomly while on a different shoot with Meghan...but that's not important!
What IS important, you look back at the decades I've been here on Flickr, all these photos are proof positive you can go out and have yourself some magnificent experiences, use that camera as your passport, go...anywhere.
Echo will pretty much chew on anything, but she absolutely loves sticks. Personally, I don't see the appeal.
Phoenicopterus roseus. Personally, I don’t think Flamingoes are that pretty, and it’s not my favourite waterbird. Let's be honest this doesn't look like the smartest bird in the world. It's not a great photo either, shot against the light. However, as they were present in numbers every day on Charco de la Boca lagoon by El Rocio and are one of the key species in the Coto Donana I thought I ought to post at least one shot. Greater Flamingo is the largest and most widespread of the six species of Flamingo. It’s the only one that breeds in Europe, being largely confined to the Mediterranean region.
Milo and his brother Mickey are right there that the top of my Favorite Boarders list. They are cute, incredibly mellow, outgoing and healthy. They always board in the "regular" boarding room where the cages are quite small. When these guys board I always keep their cage doors open and let them have access to the whole room. In the gazillion places to hang out, Milo often chooses to sit in his carrier on a storage shelf. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was trying to tell me he wants to GO HOME!
Cats of Carnegie
There's a picture of Milo and his brother Mickey in the comments.
Personally one of the most exciting Lego releases this year has been the big cat mould. I have been lucky enough to obtain all three cats and plan a series of three vignettes to display them.
To begin with, here is the rarest of the three, the tiger!
Personally I'd like a bit of the white stuff (snow that is) but we'll see.
No problem back in February 1978 though where a swift walk from home sees me snapping class 25 no. 25111 gurgling away and making light work of an engineers' train passing a wintry Beeston station. There weren't many folks for company that day.
A reprocessed oldie.

I personally love this basket....this is my first time working with textures, layers and actions. Not sure how to explain what I did, though!
Oh! Thanks for looking at my image, the favs and the comments...yay!
Basket is from Hobby Lobby!!!!
Personally I am very preoccupied with the family time being taken away from children these days in the name of money?
If we want young upright citizens we have to have the time to devote to bringing up our children by example, teaching them, helping them and generally nurturing and loving them.
The mother is of prime importance in the make-up of family, and yet now that she has become successful in education and work, she is expected to work too many hours for the firm, thereby neglecting her children's needs. It is in our society's interest to give these capable women time with their children, and I really believe that there is no excuse in not giving her that time.
There is a lot to read here, all of which has something to digest. Our children and grandchildren need our attention.

as the dark ground provides more contrast. What do you guys think?

Personally, I like her wild and scruffy, but her hair was matted beyond repair and it had to be done.😭
Personally, I don't think cranes are actually that interesting. Especially when you're stuck behind one travelling by road.
But we've had lots of cranes in Plymouth for the past five years and I think they are a good simple Key Performance Indicator (government-speak) of how fast a place is moving forward. Of course, the government wouldn't accept that sort of KPI, but I bet a lot of Plymothians would.
Here are four of them.
Benjamin Franklin
I wish it weren't true.
I've never personally had this happen to me that I know of, but I hear it a lot. It breaks my heart to hear girls saying such hurtful things about their own "friends" so casually.
High school is the most accomodating place for it all as well with everyone wanting to be liked and wishing to fit in, everyone just goes along with whatever anyone says. It's really quite sad.
If girls would just stop and think it would make high school a more enjoyable experience for all. What can you do...
One heck of a day.
I thought it'd be easy going once we settled here at the landing pad.
But boy, was I wrong.
Ya see, that's the thing about war.
It never goes as planned.
We had just gotten the news that we had won. We had actually successfully completed a mission.
No casualties.
No regrets.
No failure.
Now that's my kind of mission.
The boys were all riled up and passionate about this victory. First mission and it's a full bed of roses.
I gotta admit, I was pretty happy too.
But that's against protocol, so I can't show it.
I thought things would be fine after that.
Some gunship would carry us home, Tango would shoot some jokes, and we'd all share some drinks all on me.
Least I could do, right?
Then.
Hell transfigured itself from its fiery dungeon and placed itself in our midst.
The comms bustled with screams and yells of anguish and agony.
"AHHHHH!!!! We-w-we can't-- It's coming to fast---- it's hopele-- AAAAAHHH-"
"What the firefek is going? Hey, you wait sto--"
"Sarge! What the heck, shoot that bloody si---
AAAAAAAARRRRRGGHHggghhhhh."
It was too much.
All the joy had been sucked out of us.
Somewhere was an evil foe too cruel to imagine.
But that wasn't it.
Just as all these transmisions trickle in, a massive shuttle blots out of the dark sky.
It's engine was on fire, crippling the ship and sending it straight toward us.
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Boys!! Take COVER!!"
In those decisive moments, again life flashed before me.
The uncertainty between life or death was nearly too much to bear.
Whether I would live and another die....
Why would it happen?
Why--
[EXPLOSION]
Silence.
Void.
Emptiness.
Then.
Light.
Though my cracked visor I manged to see the the flames, like little Devils consuming whatever was in sight.
Debris was everywhere.
The comm tower was on the brink of collapse.
The stench of gasoline burning made me gag.
This was war.
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Sabre! Ratchet! Tango! Fuse! Where are you!? Boys!?"
Silence.
It can't end like this.
No.
No.
No.
And, then like turtles, team emerged out from their shells.
[CT-2471]|Tango|:"Well, I can still dance." (Chuckles)
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Dance-boy?"
[CS-1742]|Sabre|:"Well I'm fine, thanks for asking."
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Sabre?."
[CS-1742]|Sabre|:"The one and only." (laughs)
[CT-1274]|Fuse|:"Man, it seems like for every boom I give, the Seps just gotta keep competing with meh."
[CL-4712]|Havoc:" (chokingly) But,Y-y-ya, ya just can't let 'em win, now can ya?".[CT-1274]|Fuse|:"You got that right Sir."
Wait.
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Where's Ratchet"?
.[CT-1274]|Fuse|:Geez sir, I'm afraid I don't know.
I heard something.
What was that?
There, yes right there...
There.
A moan.
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Ratchet!"
There he was, leaning against the towers base like a shattered doll.
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Are you alright"?
[CT-2471]|Tango|:"Vital signs are stable, Sir."
[CT- 7215]|Hatchet|:"I.... I-I think I've just gone and broken me leg."
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Definitely."
[CT- 7215]|Hatchet|:"Nah, Tis but a scratch. Let me-- get.... up.." ( tumbles)
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Easy thar Private, Easy now."
[CT- 7215]|Hatchet|:"HA! I got all of y'all!"
[CS-1742]|Sabre|:"When we get back to HQ, I will personally beat you up."
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"If there were a lower rank I'd demote you right now for scaring the living daylights out of me."
[CT- 7215]|Hatchet|:"(Chuckles) Sorry sir, I just had to."
[CS-1742]|Sabre|:"Well, we're alive."
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"And that's what matters."
That was too close for comfort.
As staggered to look for my rifle, I saw a gleam of shiny white armor.
I- Well I just can't believe it.
If it wasn't Cod.
One of my best buds on Kamino, he had been entered into the legion some time after me.
I thought I'd seen the last of him.
And here he was.
"(Weakly) Well if it isn't Hotshot Havoc Havoc." (Chuckles)
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"We meet again, Corny Cod."
"Argh.... what happened?"
[CL-4712]|Havoc:"Hell broke loose."
"You can say that again."
[CL-4712]|Havoc:You gone solo?"
Oh, firefek. My squad... they're here. Somewhere. I gotta, I just gotta- get up.... (falls)
[CL-4712]|Havoc:Cod, it's alright. Believe me, I know. We'll find them.
I helped him up as we began searching for his team.
Still, we're alive.
We've won.
An unlikely victory that nearly ended in a defeat.
Yet we are and will be,
Victorious.
//////END LOG\\\\\\
I want to wish to all my friends from the toy photography community a happy new year. I hope you'll have plenty of great moments during the year to come and lots of fun playing and shooting toys!
Personally there's a lot of stuff I want to do this year. I've never been the kind of person to make resolutions for the new year but I've got a few photo project ideas for 2016 and even for 2017. I've written a blog post about these project ideas in order to keep a trace of my process: reiterlied.net/2016/01/01/about-projects/
Personally, I preferred last year's Minion Mash, but they wanted to do it all themselves this year. Pick out their own Halloween costumes, decorations, staging and lighting.
Anybody who knows minions knows you will never win an argument with them.
So, I said ok, here's the digital closet, take whatever you want.
So they did...and threw the rest on the floor.
Enjoy your weekend, I'm going to be doing housecleaning.
Happy Shocktober.
Personally, this is one of the shots I am most proud of it from all my stream so far. I know, it has nothing to do with some of my "fisher" shots, but hey, let me love this one!
Nikon EM
Nikkor 50mm f2
Fuji Provia 100
Personally, I can get away with two of these, but who am I to judge? Also, I'm not saying which two.
I personally find that there are certain locations that resonate with photographic opportunities. Now obviously the reasons why are complex, they synthesise a whole host of factors and place you into a flow state of creative possibilities. The interesting thing about these places is that the resulting image is the end product, a sum of parts but should offer glimpse elements from its construction. The viewer may or may not be privilege to these factors but a good image should offer ways to welcome interpretation.
For me, a little stream nestled in beech woodland at the very bottom of a long winding country lane offers this creative stimulation, and this is the end product.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the start of fall and cooler temps. I've had to put my desert hikes on hold... just too dang hot! But I'm sure my granddaughter has different ideas. She would likely tell you she wants summer to last forever. I remember those days...
I personally like storms even more when they are electric. This is a series of photos that I take from my house to the lightings. I hope not to bore you.
.
Thank you to all for your comments, faves, notes and expos!.-

I personally think, city night shots are really the best. I love to see all the different lights. the atmosphere of the night life, the motion blur of cars, and coolness of artificial light. A couple of images of a lovely encounter with a Fox a few days ago. Sadly they're much maligned in this country. Personally I love spending time in their company.
Personally 2016 was a very mixed year. Pixie came into our lives, we had unexpected kittens. I had a big birthday with the excitement of a holiday of a lifetime and then it came crashing down - literally lol.
This may seem an odd choice of photo but it reminds me that sometimes things can turn your life upside down. However, the bruises fade and if you concentrate on the good things, those bad times soon fade away. So let's step into 2017 with nothing but positive energy.
