A picture from my archives. I will post a few pictures from my archives. I hope they don't just sleep in my hard disc. :)))

Thank you for your presence and visits in my absence these last months. It's truly appreciated.

Winter was a bit much with birds... I think I overdid it ;-)

Then lost my mojo. It happens. Swings and roundabouts...

In between rides I'll enjoy catching up with your work... albeit slowly.

In the meanwhile... whether quietly or with words,

I'm grateful for the company here :-)

"Sei que é sem conhecer

O toque dos seus lábios ao arder

Sinto o corpo a flutuar

Nos seus sonhos

E assim dançamos os dois

Nas fantasias um do outro

Podem não acreditar, mas amar só eu sei."

Lucky... the mirror surface was only visible for a few minutes, then the water surface rippled again

This was the last honeybee that I saw in 2024. It was leisurely gathering pollen from an aster in a sliver of morning light.

Thank you for your visits and comments, they're all very much appreciated. Have a great day!

The Sword-billed Hummingbird is a charismatic species from Andean South America. It is found from Venezuela and Colombia in the north to Bolivia in the south. The species belongs to a monotypic genus, Ensifera, and is quite different from all other hummingbirds; metallic green and bronzed overall, with a black bill that is slightly upcurved and longer than the body length. This is the only bird species with a bill length that exceeds the body length. When seen perched, the species usually holds its bill quite upright, presumably because of balance issues stemming from this long and relatively heavy structure. Picture taken at Ensifera, Cusco, Peru.

Wishing everyone a Peaceful Sunday!

Thanks a lot for your visits, comments, faves, invites, etc. Very much appreciated!

For this moment in time the world is at peace. Nothing else exist except for the beauty of nature that stands before me. For those few minutes before the sun rises above the mountains the world is perfect.

For this late afternoon ... it was just a nice peaceful spot here on our wonderful planet. Captured with a 6-Stop ND filter.

Lake Buena Vista with my friend Photosuze.

I noticed I have around 18,000 picture files... only showing 365 is kind of sad... right? so I´ll be mixing old pictures with new ones.. I have many many many ideas of weird photo manipulations... so... we'll see were this takes me... for now... just this... a beautiful picture I found .... Arés France, December 2008
