This meditation of my heart was created around 4am before work. It's a two page spread in an old book about pioneer churches. I covered the pages with gesso and painted over it. Certain words are circled (as you will see in closeups) that have meaning. I remember doing a bit of "fingerpainting" with this one, my fingers tapped the page like the beating of hummingbird or angel wings.
I had a dream a few yrs. prior about holding a hummingbird in my hands. The little bird held on to my pointer finger and suddenly laid a huge pile of eggs in my hands. Some were broken, most were whole. Then she gave birth again, releasing afterbirth which covered the eggs. I had just stepped out of a dark room into bright sunshine when she landed in my hand.
I asked the Lord what the dream meant. I believe the hummingbird actually represents me resting in the hands of God. I battle with PCOS (polyscystic ovary syndrome). I don't release eggs properly, and my cycles are messed up. I have been unable to have children in my 11 yr. marriage. But this is a promise of what's to come....physical children, perhaps, and definitely spiritual fruitfulness. The eggs are covered in the blood of Jesus, an atonement. The eggs represent my art, creativity and other things the LORD wants to birth.
If you are struggling with barrenness, spiritually or physically, I encourage you reach out and grab the hem of his garment, the wings of His prayer shawl. He wants to touch you and heal your body.

[EN] Command post shelter, looking towards the sleeping quarters. Of the twin shelters this bunker is made of, this is the one hosting the infantry opera (blockade) command. This opera consist of 5 Ms positions, i.e. MG42/59, four-loophole pillboxes.

Travel Motives, Sun International and V Australia recently hosted this lucky group of PCOs on a famil to Africa.
The trip included stays at the Palace in Sun City, The Royal Livingston in Zambia and the Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town, along with game drives in Pilansberg and Choebe National Parks.
The PCOs also experienced a helicopter ride over Victoria Falls, a six-course dinner on the Royal Livingstone Express train, wine tasting the Franschloed and a visit to an orphange in Zambia.

Arriving from Victoria as "Pasco (PCO) 100" is this former WestJet Link aircraft. It spent some time in Chilliwack last month and emerged with blue painted engines. Although they seemed to have not painted the tail judging by the stickers already peeling off.
#PCOS #pcoshair #hirsutism another day, another collection of new growth, I'm only showing You what I pluck in the morning, at night it's the same volume of hair, it's massively depressing and I hold a lot of self hatred, I can't look at myself without feeling like a freak of nature, but it's a vicious cycle, the more I hate myself the more I self harm by eating the wrong foods, it's a habit I know I need to break, but I take comfort in food and that's where I need a new outlet
it's my ovaries. I had a sonogram today to see how my body is reacting to our fertility treatments. I have a condition called policystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) that is preventing me from getting pregnant. The last sonogram that I had a few months ago showed that the ovaries were very enlarged. Today they are at a normal size which is wonderful news. Hopefully in just a few more cycles we will become pregnant!
