PCB tracks milled, holes drilled and outline routed on the CNC, all in a few minutes. The tabs are still holding the PCB to the outer scrap part of the raw material. These are easily broken off by hand, and the stubs cleaned up with a file (the only manual operation required before soldering).
Since I was doing a take-a-part, figured I might as well see what was under the PCB. There are 6 standoffs for the PCB to screw into.
This is a neat little RepRap Generation 7 PCB that my friend Greg milled and printed for me.
Copper was removed by a CNC mill using an optimized algorithm to reduce overall mill time/distance.

Based on hack-a-day's BusPirate v1, but bidged for PTH assembly and double-sided boards. Keeping the same pinout for the pic24 wasn't pretty but it keeps the firmware the same.
Still more to be done, but it's a start.
