“The patterns we perceive are determined by the stories we want to believe.” - John Vernon

The last few days have been cold enough to produce a show of frosty fringes along the river where we sometimes walk. This particular pattern really caught my eye. I haven't discovered the "story" it tells but I do love the pattern. Maybe sometimes it is just an appreciation of something rather than an interpretation.

For this weeks Macro Mondays pick "Redux 2020" I chose Unusual Patterns, as you can see the insect has a pattern on its back and the screen it's on has a pattern. I also included the Dutch Angle.

Eins der Gebäude am Düsseldorfer Medienhafen zieht die Blicke durch seine rote bemusterte Fassade an. Auf der Rückseite stehen Bäume und setzen mit ihren grünen Blättern einen fast surrealen Effekt.

One of the buildings at Düsseldorf's Medienhafen attracts attention through its red patterned façade. On the back are trees and set with their green leaves an almost surreal effect.
