The melting of the snow is well under way here. It is among the longest and coldest winters these past 8 months however, it should be gone for the arrival of summer. Maybe even Spring
One of many footpaths at Attenborough Nature Reserve , located between Beeston / Long Eaton on the Notts , Derbyshire border.
Just arrived at top of zig zag path.
With the roof of the incline in decay,not safe at all with barriers to stop people going there.
Love to see the leaves gradually transition to shades of yellow, orange and the occasional red as we move deeper into autumn in northern Minnesota.
Taken in early summer while the surrounding fields are still filled with wheat, this is the pathway to the beautiful St. Hubert's church which dates from 1053.
Couldn't resist a detour to work in Birmingham yesterday, with the large amount of fog we had in Warwickshire.
I went to this tree lined avenue last year, but was too late for the leaves as they were all on the floor. Thankfully this year a few remainded which I could use to brighten up this scene.

Cathedral Of St. John The Divine
Divine Pathways is an art installation by Anne Patterson. Members of the community wrote hopes, wishes and prayers on ribbons which were hung in the cathedral.
A very pleasant couple of hours up at Embleton this morning! The weatherman said it would stop raining at 7am and indeed it did....within a minute or two anyway!!
