Patch came to us an intact male with a wounded eye. They removed the bad eye when they neutered him. He is one of our most friendly and affectionate cats. He spends some time sleeping on the desk every day. When he is awake he pats me until I pet him...or put out the catnip...

The Pumpkin Patch is located on Sauvie's Island just 15 minutes northwest of Portland, OR. From Portland, take Highway 30 west towards Scappoose to the Sauvie Island bridge. After crossing the bridge, circle to the left and loop back under the bridge, following Gillihan Road to the farm. Head straight 2 miles until you see our signs.
Market and U-pick: 9 AM - 6 PM, June through October.
Pumpkin Cottage Giftshop: 10am - 6pm.
Patio Cafe: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 10am - 6pm.
The Maize: September-October.

my friend Melissa (www.underconstructionblog.typepad.com) gave me these vintage quilt peices awhile back and I decided to make patches out of them last night. i love them insanely!
KHOST PROVINCE, Afghanistan -- Lt. Col. David Kramer, the commander of Task Force Tigershark, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, awards combat patches to the Soldiers of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 135th Aviation Regiment during a ceremony held at Forward Operating Base Salerno here Aug. 13. Co. B, a National Guard unit based out of Colorado and Nebraska, is attached to TF Tigershark in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
The twentieth patch on the jacket depicts Ken Tarleton or as most people know him The Elvis Trooper. This patch was acquired from Ken himself, I swapped him a Star Wars Action News Star Wars Celebration CVI badge for it at some point during the convention in Orlando last year. The patch has been sewn on the upper part of the left arm of the jacket and celebrates 10 years of Ken being the king of the troopers.
