NEWS 2020! Iron on patches for textiles in 6 motifs.

Max Patch is a bald mountain on the North Carolina-Tennessee Border in Madison County, North Carolina and Cocke County, Tennessee. It is a major landmark along the Tennessee/North Carolina section of the Appalachian Trail, although its summit is located in North Carolina. It is known for its 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains, namely the Bald Mountains in the immediate vicinity, the Unakas to the north, the Great Smokies to the south, and the Great Balsams and Black Mountains to the southeast. A small parking area is located near the summit with a short loop trail.

The mountain received national publicity after Bethany Lott was killed when struck by lightning near the summit as she was about to be proposed to by Richard Butler on June 8, 2010.

Hi ya! My name is Patches! I am a young, energetic, happy-go-lucky dog in need of a forever home. I love to play with toys. I will romp and run, tossing them around in the air, tail always wagging with a big, heartwarming grin on my face. I get along well with other dogs, especially those who will play with me. I also have a sweet, friendly, loving personality. I enjoy being petted and told I'm a good boy. I have been around cats and I pretty much ignore them. I am a good dog who is looking for a home where people have the time and energy to spend with me, play with me and shower me with love and kisses. Could that be you? Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. So the toy is SHIT after all! It helped to grow big fat cabbage! HAHAHAHA

If only there had been an actual cabbage patch in the background and Amy and Joe were holding cabbage patch dolls.

Showing his torn ear to advantage.

From my patch collection. All of these are from my father, a veteran of 22 years service. Except for the Airborne patch. I got that from my friend Bill, who served in the 82nd.

There were several railroad telephone lines entering the depot. This box was used to patch together different lines in case in case there was a problem with one line somewhere. It worked a little bit like a phone company switchboard with jacks that could be inserted into plugs for the various lines. This box was located in the Waupaca depot office. The cut off phone cable still comes into the room. This box ended up being stored in the signal maintainers shed at Holbeck Street.

A tattered and patched former Southern Pacific AC4400CW is in DPU mode on a westbound hopper train on UP's former CNW Clinton Subdivision.

The faded to pink SP red really makes me glad that I got these when they were new in the mid-1990s. This one needs to be put out of our misery. I'd rather have it in UP yellow than this shadow of its former self.

I found this pattern for this old fashion patch stuffed dog. My grandmother used to make them for us out of scraps when we were young. She let us pick out two buttons of our choice for the eyes.

Here's the button fly of my first attempt at a patch pocket style of jeans.

At the same time when I earned university degree in Computer Systems Engineering, I also earned military rank. This patch (Armed Forces of Russian Federation, Electronic Warfare) reflects my specialization.

Built in 1955, I was about ten years off my guess of '65. Style didn't change much between the mid-century and the mid to late 80s for school design.

There is a new patch for LDD. There are new bricks, some in pictures, probably not all.

Patches is a piebald whitetail deer. Although they are pretty and rare, this is not a desired trait. Thought to be caused by overcrowded deer populations, which is the case here in Bent Tree.

I was never actually in the guides. They wouldn't let me join as I was so much trouble in Brownies. But the left patch is a Girl Guides 80s patch of a Kingfisher, the middle is my Pixies patch (I was a firster but I've used my firster and seconder patches on another shirt and coloured them) and the last is a Brownies achievement patch for being funny and entertaining, I believe.
