I had tilled this patch in my side yard with nothing but a small shovel and my foot. I made rows and in the back planted the first row of pumpkin seeds. Pumpkins are very hard to grow down here in Florida because of the heat, humidity, powdery mildew and melon worms. It's amost impossible. My idea was to play the shere numbers game and plant late in the season so hopefully things will cool off some and there will be fewer bugs.

I'll take one Patches to go, please!
