So let's see. A range powder flask, a corn meal flask, ticking for patch material, a nice copper funnel for dropping the powder in the barrel, a ball flask loaded with 0.490 inch lead balls, ball starter, Polish percussion capper, leather mallet, a bottle of patch lube (20-80 ballistol to water) home made antler handled patch knife made from an old file, a corn cob pipe loaded and smoking, and a hot cup of coffee to warm my hands and innards.
Lots if stuff, all laid out ready for use. Time to convert some money to smoke and noise
A female cat I met at the Eco-Justice Center. She wasn't interesting in being photographed; she was constantly on the move and refused to look up at me.
Come to the Pumpkin Patch at Seminole Heights United Methodist Church down on the corner of Central & Hanna in Seminole Heights. The Patch will be open 12-8 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturdays until Halloween.
Prototype of a flexible health patch weighing just 10g – half the weight of current products. The patch uses real-time electrocardiogram (ECG), tissue-contact impedance and accelerometer information to accurately monitor physical activity.
This H3 GEVO must have had a catastrophic engine failure as the hood doors are a mix of H2, H3 and primer painted ones. These are the moderately-graded BNSF tracks, with the UP line visible up the hill between the locos and the trucks on the two levels of the I-15 freeway (itself an impressive piece of work).
I didn't realize I collected appliques & patches, but I guess I do! I'm cleaning out my craftspace and was shocked to find how many of such things I have....
It's been a good long while since I've had the opportunity to get out with my camera, and just as long since I've had a chance to post anything on FLICKR. Today, my wife and I made it out to Max Patch Bald, near the North Carolina-Tennessee border. I had a nice time shooting the hay bales dotted along the mountain top .
Thank you for visiting. I will try to catch up and visit your photostreams over the next several days.

A hand embroidered patch of a drawing I made on wool felt.
This little chap is perfect to add embellishment to a bag or clothes, or even just to have it up on your wall.
It is backed with the same felt, for strenght and thickness.
Some patches that I’ve kept since I was a youngling. The Aussat one was my fave as we got a tour of the Aussat facility in Lockridge before it was Optus. (88/89) We got a little bag of goodies but this is all I have left. The others are souvenirs of crossing Oz. Tip Top one is from a bread promo. All circa 88/90.
Its not a wonderful picture but I thought I'd share it since patch is so cute! His ears had -just- lopped that day~
9-patch quilt top made with momo wonderland fat quarters, a coordinating shot cotton square thrown in to each 9-patch block + a muslin center square.
this is the largest quilt top i've made so far . . . it's huge!
Super awesome patch from ezri_b!! It's going to be framed and hung in our bathroom. (We have a tattoo parlor themed bathroom... don't ask why...)
I encountered this fellow on one of my walks around the neighborhood the other night. I love to carry my camera and 100mm f2.8 Macro lens. He belongs to my 25th stranger, Cody, in my 100 Strangers project.
After you visit your laughing place, hop on into The Briar Patch and take a peek inside Brer Rabbit’s home. I love the decor here and it's worth a visit just to see the roots of the briar patch forming the ceiling of the store. Always remember to Look Up!
This is nice shop with a good variety of Splash Mountain merchandise.
