Hurry, let's go
Press L and then F11 for a large view -
an absolute must to fully enjoy this picture !
This is a very silly cart like if you combined Dolly Parton with dill pickles and then raced to raise money for charity. These humans were living their best lives regardless and I was there for it!

LOVE IS LIKE A BUTTERFLY – DOLLY PARTON
SEPTEMBER DANCES
Butterfly kisses tickling my cheek
with gentle soft wings fluttering and meek
whispered words brushing my ears
caressing my skin
warm and golden
sun-kissed and velvety peach texture
such fine downy feelings
dreamy, delightful and meaningful glances
that conjure up September dances
of love and longing
such sweet all-embracing
touching and tracing our finger tips
down profiles so gleaming
in the subtly revealing
after-glow that left us
belonging and longing for more
knowing that this may be all that we have
let us savour the moments,
so precious and glad
to have gifted this time to each other.

Country: England
Location: Parton / Cumbrian Coast
Train: Northern Class156 Local Train to Carlisle
Getting this to run down the Cumbria coast with a High Tide and sunny crisp evening can seem like Mission Impossible.
So here’s 37254 37175 making dreams come true with the every 4 wks 1Q82 1635 Carlisle to Blackpool North test train passing Lowca point and about to enter Providence Bay, Parton. 17th June 2021.
Superb light and visibility on the Cumbrian coast north of Drigg but the strong N/NE wind was a problem. We decided the low shot at Parton was the best option and fortunately the exhaust held up for us.Taken 24/9/2022

37403 ‘Isle of Mull' pushes back into Parton station working 2C40 Carlisle to Barrow service back on a lovely early June morning in 2018.
After a reversal at Maryport, 56113 eases through Parton with the 6Z87 08:38 Workington Docks to Drigg BNF. Stockpiled from local quarries, the aggregates conveyed in this short term flow were used not just for construction purposes but also for the capping of storage vaults at Drigg Low-Level Waste Repository, near to Drigg village. The site is the UK's central long-term storage facility for low-level radioactive waste. Although Colas operated, the trips utilised blue JNA-T wagons hired in from Cappagh / DC Rail.

I have shot this composition a couple of times in the past but have never quite managed to get the shot I was hoping for. Finally, with the light reflecting off the water along with the movement in the foreground, I got the shot.
56113 now leads 6Z87 Workington Port (Colas) - Drigg BNF loaded vault-capping stone through Parton, having reversed at Maryport. A failure to run to its booked timings (the potential for which I had already considered) meant that it was 50 minutes early here at Bank Yard Rd.
Just about got away with it shadow-wise but on time would've been better.
One of the patches of sand between the rocks on Parton beach. This is well into the blue hour last February. It was almost dark when I shot this as is often the case when before I leave.
