Paranoid Android - Radiohead

"Ambition makes you look pretty ugly

Kicking and squealing gucci little piggy

You don't remember

You don't remember

Why don't you remember my name?

Off with his head, man

Off with his head, man

Why don't you remember my name?

I guess he does...."

Someone needs to redeem all the lil piggys of the so called "SLelite" ... maybe

When I am king you will be first against the wall

With your opinion which is of no consequence at all

Can't you see, up in the sky

Strange black figures coming down

It's raining stoopid people (uah uah)

It's raining stoopid people (oh yeah)

But don't be afraid

'Cause our umbrellas will protect us

Our umbrellas

Our umbrellas of ingenuity.

(It's raining stoopid people (but we have umbrellas), Lukasik)

Threadless says "Your photograph has been declined"

Hello, Eleonora

Unfortunately your photograph was not accepted into the Threadless gallery. Your submission may have been declined if 3/4 of the design was not visible, there was nobody wearing the tee shirt, your face wasn't 3/4 visible(above the eyes down), the photo is not right side up, the photo is reversed(a mirror shot), a filter was used, or of a really low quality. You can only submit one gallery photo per design and should submit different photos for each shirt. We cannot post the same picture for multiple designs, even if there are several designs in the photo.

If you're having a cropping issue you need to resize your photo yourself to the requested 380x272pixels

Thank you,

I'm here too, 69 Clichés del indie snob and here, even if they didn't put credits :P

yeah, it's overwhelming, but what else can we do

i was out taking a picture yesterday by myself as usual. since the moment i got to this forest like area i heard several owls and they hooted. there was definitely more than one, there were several lurking above, surrounding me. i felt weird and creeped out, it was such a spooky setting. eventually, when i was about to leave, i heard another weird noise-a call that sounded like a person. i knew it wasn't but still, c'mon, i was already paranoid and it was freaky. i left immediately.

I was going to post more photos of Wire Fest. but considering this endless rain, Jonny Greenwood in a hood seemed more appropriate. I was also thinking of "Rain down rain down rain down on me...from a great height...from a great height..."

Here is a short video of the photos created in the Photoshop Tennis Sc-Fi game being played at

This is an obsession i have since ever: redesigning the way i wanted the covers of my favourite records. This series will be no more than that, my music revisited in just an aesthetic exercise combining images and typography.

All the photographies are mine.

l'emporte,

jusqu'à une autre plage,

intérieure,

hors du temps,

hors d'atteinte...

prostré,

sur lui même...

Comme un oeuf...

Un oeuf humain.

------------------------------------------------------

Just sitting there,

prostrated

folded on himself,

as an egg ...

He felt neither wind

nor heard the backwash,

saw nor night,

or the stars ...

Rocked by the comings and goings of the tide inland

forever lost

drowned

under the warm waves,

He will put there,

until blade is sharp,

prevails

to another beach

Inside

out of time,

unattainable ...

prostrate

on himself ...

As an egg ...

A human egg.

Marvin the Paranoid Android from the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Based mostly on the TV series version. We'll be making a bunch of them at Eastercon in Birmingham to promote Lazlar Lyricon 3, the Hitchikers' convention taking place in Stoke-on-Trent this June.

Cause I felt like doing a closeup before proceeding...

I'm in love with whiter than white hair.

I'm in love with my guns.

I'm in love with my boots.

I'm in love with this 5th Element-esque outfit.

I'm in love with Radiohead.

Sit

Sit, drink your coffee here; your work can wait awhile.

You're twenty-six, and still have some of life ahead.

No need for wit; just talk vacuities, and I'll

Reciprocate in kind, or laugh at you instead.

The world is too opaque, distressing and profound.

This twenty minutes' rendezvous will make my day:

To sit here in the sun, with grackles all around,

Staring with beady eyes, and you two feet away.

Following the clandestine meeting between Arthur and Trillian, it would appear that an 'Accommodation' has been reached (... Ahem ..!),however, Marvin, the 'Paranoid Android', has a point to make ..! To be continued ....

The Hack42 general purpose Flexlab (flexible lab), used for workshops, lectures and whatever is convenient at the time. It is currently used as a temporary base of operations for the Museum curators, for dismantling and repairing the exhibits.

I created this panorama photo by stitching four individual 15mm fisheye photo's together with Hugin. The software warned in advance that there were issues with some control points, which is obvious in the resulting image, but it is still quite a nice stitch.

A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitch hiker can have. Partly it has great practical value — you can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble‐sanded beaches of Santraginus Ⅴ, inhaling the heady sea vapours; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a mini raft down the slow heavy river Moth; wet it for use in hand‐to‐hand‐combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (a mindbogglingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you — daft as a bush, but very ravenous); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.

- Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Marvin, I think, was doing a little bit of everything mentioned above here.

Happy Towel Day!

"The first ten million years were the worst", said Marvin,

"and the second ten million years, they were the worst too.

The third ten million years I didn't enjoy at all.

After that I went into a bit of decline."

Waiting for the End of the Universe is always a bit of a bore, isn't it?

I'm currently having a bit of fun working on a series of paintings for a new horror film called Blaze of Gory that features nine separate stories told by nine different horror directors from around the world. “All the short films are based on the writings of a teenage girl called Blaize-Alix Szanto, who wrote these stories between the ages of 12 and 15. They are truly depraved tales of horror and torture that have made even the hardest horror directors uneasy.”

The section that I've been asked to produce the work for is called "Monster" and is about a young girl locked away in a high-security mental hospital for a series of brutal crimes. The talented cast includes scream-queen Victoria Broom, and ex-Coronation Street legend Martin Hancock. It is directed by Andy Edwards, whose previous horror anthology feature, the chilling triptych "Three's A Shroud", won the British Horror Award at the British Horror Film Festival 2012.

So far I've come up with eight paintings which will eventually be used to adorn the walls of the psycho girl's cell. They're a mixture of images of death, immolation, torture, and dismembered corpses - and are to appear to be the work of the girl herself. To prepare for this and to try and get into the right mindset I spent time looking through a lot of autopsy photos – always a pleasant way to spend a relaxing Sunday! The last part of the 'Monster' segment of the movie takes place in Professor Damocles's office, and there's a chance that some of my sculptures might also make it this scene. But lets wait and see!

Don't be scared, I haven't gone mental or anything . . . this is just an idea that got a bit out of hand! Hopefully you can tell this is tongue in cheek by the way I'm not holding a gun but have shaped my hand/fingers in the shape of a gun like a kid?

Radiohead fans might get where I'm going with this straight away, and it could be a companion to my shot from day 65 as they both reference the same line from Paranoid Android. Except this time I'm trying to interpret the lyrics visually instead of using words. Well, almost not using any words.

This shot came from me desperately trying to work out what words I could make from the letters on my 'Working Class Hero' t-shirt - and 'king' sprang to mind, which made me think of the song, which made me think of doing this clone shot.

I had to wear my t-shirt backwards to get the 'KING' bit on my shoulder . . . true story. The blindfolded me's t-shirt I had to cheat on a bit and clone out all the words, replacing them with the '1st' using the plain ol' boring text tool in Photoshop.

The shot really didn't look too good until I put the TTV border and wall texture on it, the textures hide a lot of what was wrong with the cloning, if you look at the hand belonging to the me in the foreground you can see that it looks false where it overlaps the blindfolded me. Which is irritating, but it took me at least three attempts to get it looking like that. And well over an hour. And I think the textures do mask the slightly crap processing enough for me to be happy uploading it.

Soooooo . . . a bit of a random one tonight, but at least I've managed to carry on my mini-series and get a sly Radiohead reference in!

. . . you will be first against the wall - well, not you pers'nally, but it's a nice way to bookend this shot no? No? I'll get me coat . . .

Long ago, I decided to spend the rest of my existence lying face-down in the dirt. It was an effective way of feeling wretched. Unfortunately some Jawas found me and seized me as lost property. Which turned out to be an effective way of feeling totally miserable.

My heart to you is given:

Oh, do give yours to me;

We'll lock them up together,

And throw away the key.
