Pang Aung or official name ‘Royal Project Pang Tong 2’ is the project initiated by HM the King and Queen. The scheme is to make the place a reservoir for better irrigation and to recover and preserve the richness of the nature. Pang Aung is large reservoir on a mountain peak surrounded by tall pines, making for breathtaking scenery!

Maybe I have acrophobia but I probably could not even contemplate doing the dive that this boy was about to make. I am not really squeamish with heights but I can't imagine adrenaline winning over the fear of falling.

Pullipstyle recently placed a number of Pang-jus on special, I may have caved and bought some including the super sweet Milk-Pang.
Pang Aung located in Mae Hong Sorn province, north of Thailand. It's a small area of development project for Thai rural people initiated by our King Rama 9, well It is very cold in a winter, around 3 – 10 Celsius, with lots of fog in a morning so it's looks very beautiful view and nature. Now there is very popular for Thais and tourists from another countries, if you want to stay there for a high season like a long holidays in December so you should booked for that about November because it's full for sure.

I wish I could stay there one night next time for Pang Aung trip :-)
That day I could visited there around 6.40 - 8.00 am. I felt it was too short time to looking all around, just walked and took some photos. For me I can spend all day there it's not for one and a half hour like that :-P it was a shame short trip for a wonderful place.
