Late model P-80C, one of 799 completed for USAF. It is shown in typical light gray finish, utilized to better seal all skin joints, but later deleted, as it was difficult to maintain. Wing tip tanks held 165 gallons each. (USAF)

The Boeing P-8 Poseidon (formerly the Multimission Maritime Aircraft or MMA) is a military aircraft developed for the United States Navy (USN). The aircraft has been developed by Boeing Defense, Space & Security, modified from the 737-800ERX.
The P-8 conducts anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and shipping interdiction, along with an electronic signals intelligence (ELINT) role. This involves carrying torpedoes, depth charges, SLAM-ER missiles, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and other weapons. It is able to drop and monitor sonobuoys.

Red Cross volunteers and staff welcome 578 migrants off an Italian Coastguard boat to the port at Messina, Sicily, July 2015. They offer the migrants food and water, health checks, psychological support, and they ensure families stay together. The team also tell the migrants about the Restoring Family Links service and take down names and information to help trace relatives.

Nepal earthquake 2015, Red Cross field hospital run by the Norwegian Red Cross. Ambika Karki brougth her eight month year old baby Ganesh Karki to see a doctor because of diarrhea. Their house was cracked in the earthquake and they are living in a tent. With them was also baby's nine year old brother Asutosh Karki. Chautara, Sindhupalchowk.

A Republic P-47D-40-RA Thunderbolt "Wicked Wabbit" (owned by John Shoffner and based at the Tennessee Museum of Aviation). The P-47 44-90438 (c/n 399-55583) at the end of WWII was sold by the US Gov't to the Yugoslav Air Force as 13021. After its service it was donated to the Yugoslav Aeronautical Museum in Belgrade. In 1985 it was sold to Doug Arnold (United Kingdom), and in 1986 then sold to John Whittington of Knoxville (Tennessee, USA). In 1994 it was sold to John Shoffner also of Knoxville, TN who had the aircraft restored to flying condition. It returned to the air for the first time since WWII after restoration in 1998 in civilian registry N647D. Wicked Wabbit today (2012) owned by Mr. Shoffner is one of approximately 10 flying P-47's remaining in the world and is housed at the Tennessee Museum of Aviation in Sevierville, TN. It can be viewed at the Museum and at air shows throughout the eastern US along with it's squadron mate P-47D "Hun Hunter" (owned by Neal Melton) also based at the Tennessee Museum of Aviation. Wicked Wabbit and Hun Hunter fly the markings of the 9th Air Force, 57th Fighter Group as they were when based in Corsica in 1944.

P-33 (female). Interestingly, P-33 came to the kill site first, alone. She fed by herself for about an hour before her mom and brother showed up.
