I shared a super chase of a B&P southbound with friends Bob Todten and Dennis Nehrenz on the same day as Super Bowl XXIII. It was topped off with this shot of the former BR&P bridge over the Allegheny River at Mosgrove, Pa. FWIW, the 49'ers beat the Bungals in one of the closer Super Bowls. January 22, 1989
B&P flare 462 leads the loaded GW1 salt train across the flats at Mt. Morris, NY on December 2, 2018. The salt mine is in the back ground. The 462 has gone to another G&W property in Georgia, but it was nice when it was on the R&S.
I only ever caught a DW&P engine in good light one time. Here it is at South Bend, IN on 9/25/97. The is GTW eastbound B460 at Arnold, St. The train was moving power back to Battle Creek, MI. 66 cars.
Under a rather splendid sky near Dyserth, Solo SR YJ60 KFT passes the former engine house of Talargoch lead mine which closed way back in 1884.
The Solo joined Lloyds eight years ago from Connexions, Harrogate.

My Take on the Game Character Pinocchio from Lies of P
The whole idea was from The Pinocchio skin made by the talented Miu Littlepaws. maker of Utopia skins. From there was quite the hunt for all the things used to make Pinocchio come to life. I hope I did the Character proud. My hope is Walton Wainwright someday might make a tailcoat either mod so can remove a sleeve or one where they are removable so I might show off his Prosthetic Arm in full which does show on Pinocchio game character. Shot @ The Looking-Glass sim , perfect backdrop for this shoot. Im glad I got him done as starting tomorrow , Im on deck to begin shooting Fantasy Faire as I have for many years and again am honored to do it again this year. Look forward to seeing you all when the mists part.

Restored Curtiss P-40N Warhawk 42-104986 at the Australian International Air Show.
On 14 February 1944, the aircraft (assigned to the 8th Fighter Squadron, United States Army Air Force 49th Fighter Group) was flown by 1Lt Nelson Flack during a raid on Wewak, Papua New Guinea. During the attack, Flack found himself in an aerial duel with a Japanese Ki-61 'Tony'. He successfully shot down the enemy aircraft, however, due to damage sustained from the fight, the aircraft lost power and Flack had to make a forced landing. Flack survived the encounter, but lost his life a few years later in Korea. The badly damaged P-40N sat in the jungle for over 60 years, until recovered and restored.
