We ventured out this evening to Black Point in Narragansett RI. The group this time out was threshold, Skazama, Rizzolo, Rltm401 and Adrian. We returned to the place that was so beautiful over the summer to see it's beauty in the cold of the coming winter season. I want to get back here in the dead of winter, ice!

Thanks to threshold for color correcting my monitor. This is a much truer interpretation of T64. The previous posts seemed to have a stronger blue/red cast to them in this set.

Here is the frontal view of what's left of a turret like outcropping at low tide. It is slowly being reclaimed by the seas. I was amazed how far the water had receded, it is usually right up against he wall. Normally I would be waist deep in the seas where I was set up to take this shot.

You can see a group pool here of all our shots on Flickr from the night or a slick slideshow here. It may take a week or so for all the shots to be posted.

BLE #906 hauls ore empties out of Dock #6 past Collingwood interlocking before shoving them down to Missabe Junction, our final catch on the DM&IR. #906 was one of seven tunnel motors rebuilt into SD40-3s for the Bessemer in Boise, Idaho; an additional four were rebuilt at the Missabe's Proctor shops.

Over 2 years ago Alan showed me this spot he dubbed “The Cove” which overlooked a giant sea stack with a Big Sur-esque type of view along the San Francisco coastline. Since then I have attempted shooting this spot about a half dozen times but have always returned empty handed with clouds blocking the sunset at the final minute.

All that changed during my spring visit here with fellow photographers Scotty and Jeff. Jeff had predicted a nice sunset as high clouds visited the SF coastline. The tide was nearly perfect and the raging surf provided the drama needed to enliven the scene. Unlike my usual seascapes where I am dodging waves left and right this shoot felt much more relaxed perched up high above.

Just as the sky began burning the setting crescent moon became brighter with the dwindling light. Though it took many tries I can finally put this location to rest.

Doo-Woo

He's boring to play, annoying to play against, but damn, he's cute.

Another Quicky Overwatch build before BW. Reinhardt looked sad all by himself, so I built him a buddy.

Props to DFI again for his help with Bastion's head.

“Its a percent day for some mayhem!”🎮 Here’s my Junkrat with a custom built gun which I think is how Lego will probably make their version someday. 💥Hope you all like it! 💥💥

Overwatch Elite Storm conceptual design inspired by the video game Half-Life.

This image was captured towards the end of July (the night before the following dawn mist images), in Wiltshire.

Up to this particular night, my Milky Way learning experience for 2023 was not looking its best. However this night was much more productive.

I think some luck played its part, as it wasn't until the dawn hours that I noticed some mist. I think this would explain why I was able to capture an area of the Milky Way that the light pollution interferes with.

"Heroes Never Die!"

It's... been a bit of a rough week, and the next week brings just college. And let's say Overwatch hasn't exactly been helping with that. But man, I still love this game. And I thought I'd throw another MOC approximately in the scale of my Sym as kind of a last hurrah for the summer. I think I did this one better though. Let me know what you think.

"Heroes never die!"

As soon as I got it, I really wanted to take a proper picture of this minifigure, and for me that included photoshopping the horrendous face printing to correct the flesh tone. So I took two photos, one with the original head, and one with a blank flesh head, and filled in the flesh printed areas with the correct flesh tone. Usually I can forgive Lego's flesh printing, but printing flesh on black never seems to work out for LEGO.

Also, life update: Justin and I are both still alive and well, and we have a big MOC in the works that we'll probably finish over our spring break, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, if any of you play Overwatch and would like to add me, my BattleTag is jzwolfman#1925 :)

My favorite online videogame OVERWATCH ♥ this is my special tribute

Hey guys... it's been a while. This new photo limit has me really hesitant to post anything. I don't know if I want to post this one, which isn't exactly finished, but I've kind of lost interest in it.

Time to do some spring cleaning, and two MOCs I'm done with happen to also be Overwatch support heroes that unfortunately, I've lost interest in. Still impressive MOCs I'd say (humbly), but I'd just rather leave the parts and room for other MOCs.
