over processed Brown Eyed Susans

For "Smile on Saturday" group theme; " Over processed". HSoS!

Overprocessed self-portrait for Smile on Saturday! Smile! Started with a not-bad self-portrait. Blurred the background (an abstract oil painting) and then overlaid a metal texture from Sharkpixel and then overlaid a bokeh overlay of my own. It has been a really great thing to learn how easy (and fun) it is to make my own textures and overlays, and then also to learn how easy (and fun) it is to play around in Photoshop adding them as layers.

Fruit image over processed.

'a' is for 'abused' ;)

Revisiting an earlier photo, where the objective was realism. Wasn't too bad, but it's not what I usually do - here the objective is extremism a.k.a. over-processing :) )) )))

The sky looked nice so I had to stop and snap yet another neighbourhood 'landscape'. Took 3, one with each lens (camera) with the different focal lengths:

This is the wideangle, pretty wide (13mm equivalent) and possibly best for landscapes. My standard over-processing ;) ))

This is a re-edit of a shot in my archives. The previous shot I had over processed and it didn't look realistic. I like this version better.

This is one of my favourite vintage signs in all of Australia. Located in Ouyen, Victoria.

Dan Andrews, Victorian Premier, will go down in history for his phrase "back on the beers" Here is my over-processed take on this idea. A new eating/drinking area on Southbank with a Corona Beer ( found at the Botanic Gardens) with a bit of texture and blur.

The wild flower meadows at Cotswold Lavender!

Over processed for Sunday Sliders. I just love bright colours.

Yours truly, under the influence of Topaz Studio 2, a great, but sadly now discontinued, utility with a storehouse of effects just begging to be overused.

Over-processed by adding a lot of contrast. The colors have not been changed, they were original from the camera.

Smile on Saturday: "Over-processed Clouds"

Weather in the central valley of California has been typical for the season. Hot (37-38C or 98-103F) with nothing but blue skys. So I had to go into my Lightroom catalog for the last time we did clouds.

Need to click and increase the image size to see the rest of the processing.

over-processed with Photoscape X

I like it better before it was over-processed.

I used a portrait that I found here on flickr, and can you believe it, Joel is Dutch too :)

I wanted to give the photo a kind of comic effect.

Hope this is overprocessed enough.

Happy Smile on Saturday

For Smile on Saturday's #over-processed theme

The flower was converted in Topaz using a 'sketch' preset of mine. The 'flower shower' was the result of learning about and playing around with custom brushes in affinity photo, using two different vectors including another flower and a star. The stripey lines are produced by taking a small selection and stretching it out. Some texture, some colour manipulation, and some creative framing,

Definitely over-processed. But loads of fun!

[My husband says it looks a greeting card from the 1980s - not sure if that's a good thing or not!]

Two rolls of developed Fujifilm colour negatives on top of my light box. A tough challenge and this was intentionally (over) processed to saturate the colours.

GROUP: LOOKING CLOSE...ON FRIDAY

THEME: FRUITS (Over Processed Picture)."

SUBJECT: STILL LIFE BY THE KITCHEN WINDOW

Looks better on B l a c k M a g i c

Todays challenge for the daily shoot was, Find an interesting shadow--any shadow--and make a photograph of it. Consider your framing as you shoot.

Thought I was going to have to look for shadows inside as it was a dark and dreary day this morning, but luckily the sun came out for an hour r so and I got some shots in

May have over processed this one but I liked the mix of shadows, textures and some sun reflected on the pavement

Neuland für mich und eigentlich nicht mein Stil,

aber hat Spaß gemacht, etwas Neues auszuprobieren.

New territory for me and not really my style,

but it was fun to try something new.

It really was a beautiful morning to be down by the river. This is my favourite of the pictures I took - I can't help feeling I've perhaps over-processed it though. Any thoughts?

Another image from April 2009 that I over-processed back then with some HDR butchery. This is a manual blend of 4 exposures for a more natural and realistic image.

I was hesitant about posting this over-cropped and over-processed record shot, but nevertheless, I like it's autumnal feel and, given the distance involved (I've measured it at roughly half a mile), it's come out much better than I expected.

One of my attempts at the "Smile on Saturday" theme "over-processed clouds".

Shot with a Noritsu "60-90 mm F 4.5-5.6" (enlarging) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
