I basically went to town on this older shot. It was already immersed in some fog and I enhanced it with a touch of blur in photoshop. I love this blur effect.

Smile On Saturday: "Over-processed" theme
It's an image I've had sitting around for a while but never posted, so this theme seemed like a good opportunity. It started out as a shot of a lone Great Blue Heron in flight.

Addendum: At [https://www.flickr.com/photos/muffett68]'s suggestion, I have placed a link to the original image in the first comment box.

I liked the way the colors came out in toothbrush shots so I just couldn't put it down. This is a crop from, "Things That Make No Sense: Toothbrush Romance" (see first comment) Hope it makes you smile. BTW: I just couldn't pass up a submit for the Smile On Saturday group: "Over-processed" HSoS

I hope I have shown the kindness and the humour! He works, as a PT, with a lot of people who suffer with neurological-physiological problems such as Parkinson's, people who have been left damaged by a stroke or an accident, etc. He recently took a group of them on an Adventure weekend where they camped, cooked over a campfire, went kayaking, abseiling, climbing etc - it showed them that these things can still be a part of their lives, and help them to feel hope for the future and fit for the problems they will have to face. It was a huge success and they all want more of the same!!
When I was growing up we looked to the skies and as there was zero light pollution then we could see the Milky Way and we called it The River Jordan, a name that has stuck with me.
After several aborted attempts to capture an image of this river on the sky, I succeded finally with the guidance of a very good Flickr friend.
This is a panorama of 6 landscape shots, with considerable overlap between them and stitched together in photoshop. I stayed away from over processing and kept it as natural as I remember it.
It was taken at the mythical birthplace of the Goddess Aphrodite, at Petra tou Romiou

Created for Smile on Saturday! :-) theme: Over-processed Clouds with the help of Deep Dream Generator and Snapseed.
HSoS everyone!
And for Nice Wonderful Tuesday Clouds. NWN everyone!
This is edited for the Smile on Saturday theme “ over-processed” clouds. We are just getting back from a second road trip and I still have not caught up on my last set of travel images. This was taken when we spent the night at this West Point Lighthouse Inn last month. The huge puddle in the parking lot made for some neat reflections of the sunset clouds. But a bit of a boost on the processing made it sublime ( in awe and energy inspiring).
Muchas, muchas gracias por sus visitas, favs y comentarios :)

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and we have another awesome theme at Looking Close on Friday: Fruits (over-processed picture).
Since I rarely take pictures of bananas, I decided to go bananas on this one ;-).
People, you have no idea how awful bananas are to work with ! The whole set up was super hard to set! Bananas are slippery, heavy and they refuse to levitate for more than 3 seconds (after that critical and very short time, the banana will slip and very slowly fall on the ground…and leave a big stain. So your beautiful blue background is damned. Or, if you wait too long the banana will just turn brown…).
After, several hours (it isn’t an exaggeration !!), a whole box of tooth picks and a very sophisticated system of wired, I got this picture out of my head… Oh, I had to eat 2 and a half bananas since I didn’t want to waste any props (so my diet is damned also)…
But, then I had to process my picture in Photoshop, and even there I almost went bananas !! I hope my picture is over-processed enough for this theme… if not: my mind is still over-processed for sure from all that photo session from hell. I hate bananas ! Bananas are evil !
This being said: i love this theme and i hope you will like my picture !!
I wish you all an amazing day !! See you later my friends !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
"La almudena", at dusk.
Enlarging the image, you may notice that it has some noise and perhaps is not as sharp as it should. Nothing to do with the lens which is excellent by all means, but rather, because the image that you see is one tenth of the sensor and somewhat over processed too.
A memorable sunrise from a few years ago. Nature created the scene and I captured it with my favorite vintage lens. I enhanced it by adjusting the color balance and color intensity.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a black and white day at Color my world Daily and we celebrate Sliders Sunday. And what is better than an over processed, black and white picture of my huge hands ? Maybe a glass of gin and tonic… or just a coffee … or Nutella… Well, ok there is many, many things better than a picture of my huge hands. But since I like this one and it looks very, very strange in black and white, why not ?
Today, i have a very busy day: some extra work for my office (money, money, money) and I have to continue my photo book. And of course, there is another 10km to run and a huge amount of laundry to fold ! So see you later my friends !!
Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!!
