#Raphadramatic snaps from the Leicester Forest Cycling Club's annual road race in September 2014.

Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?

Heavily (over) processed New Horizons false color image of Pluto from a few days ago. The text in the image is from the description of the image from a NASA web site and overlayed on the original image.

Newport Beach, Northern Beaches, Sydney Australia

This was the first time I have used my new Lee Big Stopper – 10 stop filter. This is a game changer for me. I think it is going to take some time to get right but It certainly opens up a lot of new possibilities. I also need to get a cable release as I can’t go past 30sec exposure without being in bulb mode. To use the bulb mode without shaking the camera I need a cable release.

Filters: Lee - 1x Lee Big Stopper (10 stops) I use the Lee 100mm system with 2x filter slots.

Editing: Lightroom for fundamentals -> Photoshop assisted with plugins (Topaz, Alien Skin Exposure 5) to refinement and experimenting with colours, contrast and mood with a series of layers used selectively with layer masks and opacity variations.

What I’m happy with: I think this is a really natural scene that reflects the moment well. I have tried to not over process the shadows as I wanted a more realistic representation of what it looked like at the time.

What I would correct next time: I would like to shoot this again with a better sky.

Cheers

Matt

Taken on approach to ORD out the plane window. Over processed HDR by snapseed but I liked the effect.

Playing with Photoshop again. I love the over processed look here. Thoughts?

Looks like this is Photo-shopped...but its not...the sky is a bit over-processed in Lightroom maybe....but the sky really was quite odd that day

just an over-processed photo..

HDR pano: shot using camera's auto-bracket (+1/-1) just to get a couple of extra exposures in the bank. Got fairly decent results using single frames but was able to squeeze a bit more out of the shadows and recover more of the highlights by combining the full sequence. Wanted to keep it bright and contrasty and not over-process, because that was the nature of the light - stunningly clear and intense.

So, today is my birthday and I've decided that I will start my 365 day project over after missing many weeks of photo's since my initial attempt. I shot this image from the 3rd level of the city parking garage. Wasn't crazy about the results so I decided to play with some of the artistic filters in Elements to change it up a bit. I know, it's a little over processed but I had fun playing anyway.

Colorized image of Hyperion (and its weird craters) from Cassini images. RGB images created from the IR2 IR1, BL1, GRN, and UV2 bands. Gratuitously over-processed variant. The colors seen here are not necessarily congruent with reality.

Over processed, cross processed...

I know this is pathetic, but I knew I wouldn't have time to snap tonight so I did it here at my desk. I also should have written in black ink. Oh well. I promise I won't be this lazy the whole year. I'm really looking forward to getting away from portraiture for a while.

Honestly, this is how I feel today more than anything. I am so thankful God has given me someone like Eddie to share my life with. I can't wait to marry him March 5th.

Eddie,

You are my inspiration, you are my rock, you give me strength, you never fail to listen to me, you are my everything. If I could choose anywhere in the world to be it would always be with you. Thank you for loving me.

Yours always,

Jaci

Over processed eyes:(

Heavily over-processed, bad lighting, noisy...and yet there is something about this photo I like. Call me crazy.

Over processed chains....

Obligatory over processed shot.

Tried to go for some over processed look on this one. Think I managed that!

I showed all these photos to a friend of mine today. Her reply "I've never understood why people take photos of random stuff"

"Not sure what you mean by random stuff" I said

Her response..."http://www.flickr.com/photos/82849768@N07/sets/72157632959947118/"

Tis tough being an artist!!

7Days Of Shooting; 2008; Wild Wednesday

So another of my sandy shots for 08 - I cranked up the vibrance and some saturation as well giving those corners some darkening. I shot down off a wall too to give this some kind of a 'wild' feeling.

10' finless walk out, 200 kodak over processed

Absurdly over-processed, but I like it anyway.

Some might say this has been over processed, no, hang on, they have said that :)

But I like it, looks good as a large panoramic print

Processed (and over processed) picture of the bottle of mugi-cha (roasted barley tea) I had for dinner.

After getting out in my car, I drove to one of my fave places to chill, and saw this and thought this was a cool shot, unsure if I have over processed it?? Let me know your thoughts peeps. Happy monday!

Just playing around with some over-processing.

I'd like to say the weather killed this photo but I think it was more a case of over-processing

Jacky@toilet in Tracyling's ftp , it is really duty!! and i think i do over processing , do you think so ?

A camera misfire while on a walk. Over-processing courtesy of Snapseed.

Tri-color Zentangle I angeled for a swap. Black micron pens over process blue cardstock. Some areas bleached white. Some areas colored with a reflex blue Sharpie. 2011

This work "Rough Diamond" - like many of my other works - is produced entirely digitally. I sometimes re-use older works as art elements and also drawing objects - usually rectangles. These are combined together using Serif PagePlus X3.

Next I mesh warp the image and finally photographically over process the image with Paint Shop Pro.

Not sure if I have over processed this is or not, one minute I like it then I think it's a bit much......anyway I've posted it for you to see....I wish there was a way of capturing just how magnificent these woods looked and the smell, now that was just delicious...

if you have a moment View On Black

Below, trying to show just how dense they are.

Another view of the jetty , closer to the water (yep, a little over-processed)

Looks over-processed on Flickr but it did actually look like that at sunset. I may need to get my monitor adjusted. Double sharpening converting to JPEG then Flickr sharpening? I'm listening.

Over-processed image to show some details.

Close-up pictures I took of some very small wildflowers a while ago. Run through a color contrast-type effect.

Radiactive swan seen on Spike Island.

Or just a bit of over-processing !

Because I'm totally in the mood for over-processing. (Plus I'm not on my own computer, and I do miss Lightroom...)

I'd had a few by the time I took this shot. Happy New Years everyone. (Yeah - I'm super late in posting this.)

A year ago today I was blurry in Lijiang.

a little over-processed, but i love the blue here

a bit bigger

Out of focus and over-processed, this is still the image that best captured how Sema and Ermis felt about each other. A natural, un-posed moment.

I finished the book for their engagement, a lot of work again - I really need to direct my energy at my course and spend less time doing freebies for people I never met before. But, I can't resist, however cynical I am there is still something rather special about young love. Not a career choice for me, but I secretly admit to enjoying wedding work, although it is a huge time investment, I estimate 30-40 hours work per event.

Way over-processed, lots of noise, but still halfway cool. Taken on Devon Avenue.
