Lundy Lake in 2014.
I hope you enjoy a beautiful October. I had hoped to catch up with people before starting on vacation, but have run out of time! I try to catch up if time and WiFi permit. Thank you all for your visits, comments, awards and faves -- I appreciate them all.

Hike in South Tyrol in Aurina Valley with this beautiful view
This is the second photography from the 'Wow Norfolk' afternoon in September 2015. We had found a new footpath, behind Cley village, that led to the sea, eventually. Birds singing, sun on the autumn reeds, perfect light.
Just 4 hours later and 50 km south to the previous picture November reality has come back again. Clouds and wind around the Hücker Moor, Ostwestfalen, Germany

"Parque das Queimadas " is an idyllic place above Santana and a good starting point for one of the finest Levada trails on Madeira to Caldeirao Verde and Caldeirao do Inferno .

Sassolungo in the early morning. There is a nice but long trail going around the base of both Sassolungo and Sasso Piatto, accessible from Selva via the Ciampinoi cable car. The trail offers unobstructed views on Val Gardena, the Sella group and the Alpe di Siusi. This shot was taken around rifugio Comici.
I'm taking a break from flickr activity a bit

I am sure you all know by now that I like shots with trees, mist and reflections, hence the title. I liked this view as the mist was even softening the trees on the oppostie bank which were only a short distance away.

A Common Snipe and a Redshank take a well earned break from their hectic search for small invertebrates and crustaceans along the coastal section of RSPB Leighton Moss. As far as I could tell, worms and small crabs topped the day's Specials Menu.
