The Royal Palace of Madrid (Spanish: Palacio Real de Madrid) is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family at the city of Madrid, but it is only used for state ceremonies.

The old Alcázar was built on the location in the 16th century. After it burned 24 December 1734, King Philip V ordered a new palace built on the same site. Construction spanned the years 1738 to 1755[ and followed a Berniniesque design by Filippo Juvarra and Giovanni Battista Sacchetti in cooperation with Ventura Rodríguez, Francesco Sabatini, and Martín Sarmiento. Charles III first occupied the new palace in 1764.

The palace has 135,000 square metres (1,450,000 sq ft) of floor space and contains 3,418 rooms. It is the largest royal palace in Western Europe by floor area. The interior of the palace is notable for its wealth of art and the use of many types of fine materials in the construction and the decoration of its rooms. These include paintings by artists such as Caravaggio, Francisco de Goya, and Velázquez, and frescoes by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Juan de Flandes, Corrado Giaquinto, and Anton Raphael Mengs. Other collections of great historical and artistic importance preserved in the building include the Royal Armoury of Madrid, porcelain, watches, furniture, silverware, and the world's only complete Stradivarius string quintet.

the full scale model of the Orient Express (from the recent Kenneth Branagh film) has arrived at Bassenthwaite Lake Station and will be used for a cafe after the station is renovated.

This 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440-S was a performance-oriented model of the Barracuda, featuring a 440-cubic-inch V8 engine, a four-speed manual transmission, and various performance options. . This car has the 440 cu in (7.2 L) four-barrel 375 hp (280 kW) Super Commando. "These cars were known for their muscle car styling and powerful performance, often including features like shaker hood scoops, dual exhaust, and performance handling components.

The all-new 1970 Barracuda was styled by John E. Herlitz and built on a shorter, wider version of Chrysler's existing B platform, called the E-body. The redesign removed all previous commonality with the Valiant. The fastback model was deleted from the line and the Barracuda was only offered in coupe and convertible models. Though sharing its platform with the newly launched Dodge Challenger, no exterior sheet-metal was shared between the two. The Challenger's 110-inch (2.79 m) wheelbase was 2 inches (5.1 cm) longer than the Barracuda's, and its body 5 inches (12.7 cm) longer.

Other Barracuda options included decal sets, hood modifications, and some unusual "high impact" colors such as "Lime Light Green" seen on this car, "Bahama Yellow", "Tor Red", "Lemon Twist", "Curious Yellow", "Vitamin C", "In-Violet", "Sassy Grass" and "Moulin Rouge"

From Wikipedia : "Gare do Oriente or Lisbon Orient Station is one of the main transport hubs in Lisbon, Portugal. It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and built by Necso. It was finished in 1998 for the Expo '98 world's fair in Parque das Nações, where it is located.

It encompasses a Lisbon Metro station, a high-speed, commuter and regional train hub, a local, national and international bus station, a shopping centre and a police station.

The station bears considerable resemblance to Calatrava's earlier Allen Lambert Galleria within Toronto's Brookfield Place. Some influence from Gothic architecture can also be found."
