"i just felt like posting this music video today by The Anniversary. and it has costumes in it so it's halloween related to boot. Lately, i've been listening to The Anniversary quite a bit. I think it's something to do with listening to a lot of old vagrant record bands in the fall when i got into that label. The band broke up back in 2004 and they are one band i would have loved to see live in their heyday. So i came across the song "All Things Ordinary"..the keyboardist is Adrianne Verhoeven and she is now in a band called "Art in Manila" - who are playing in Seattle this saturday. I already planned on seeing "The Good Life" (members of Cursive) this saturday and "Art in Manila" is opening for "The Good Life" so i'm totally stoked."

From ordinary to extra-ordinary

We have lived in our house for 32 years and this closet was treated like an unfinished attic. This week my husband & I cleaned it out so that it could be finished and then we filled it back up. Hopefully I will not let it get too clutter again!

Winter in Southern California, if it's rained enough, isn't only bare branches. In the old creek bed where I like to walk sometimes, after the waters go down, there's an abundance of green. It's true that in the Summer here there is more dry grasses than in the winter!
