Last shot of the Orbit mini-series. I'll return for a late afternoon shots with better shadows and colors or possibly a night shot.
We'll see...
This shot is for Jason Kelley. A great great friend, who has shown me that tripods are not always for keeping cameras still. Thanks for that. You can see some of his work that inspired me here: www.the-dossier.com/2005.html
The latest project. A near-future orbiter....Produced of course by the Babalas Drive Yards (the ship yards space division)
Using inspiration from the current (soon to be retired) NASA orbiter.
Running seriously low on white slope bricks at the moment.....Even old, dirty reject bricks are going in to this.
🌞🌍🌖
#Sandpatterns left by the #tides and lit by the first rays at #sunrise. All tracks caused by a gigantic eternal dance.
Have a great weekend!

Now we are talking to really show off the architecture of this iconic gas station with a 12mm shot. I love this neighborhood Orbit in Orangevale. You can get a different looking shot from every angle you choose. It's on a pretty good sized lot, too.
Some more random experimentation with light.
2 exposures merged in photoshop, both taken with no lens by refracting light directly on the sensor.
Another from the fantastic night, at the Cully at Ouse Burn.
An enjoyable night of light painting with some friends. A combination of gadgets used in this shot
Messing around with light and reflection and refraction. Can't wait for this deep freeze to lift and I can venture outside again. -25 today.
Our orbit is giving us a very low sun angle right now – great for cloud pics!
