Oracle Racing has gold colored wheels because they are the 2010 series champions. You can tell that this is no ordinary 44' sail boat, it has an open transom, no cabin, only a very small below decks area forward for storing sails, everything is stripped down for racing.
From the developer's website: "Oracle have recently submitted a planning application, on behalf of overseas investors, for the redevelopment of two vacant office blocks opposite East Putney tube station an area totaling 1.2 acres. Regeneration of this area will create one of West London’s most exclusive new iconic developments with each building twenty-one and twenty-six storey’s high respectively."
Oracle buries a pontoon going through the bottom gate during race 2 of the America's Cup. The longer and deeper the pontoons are in the water the slower the boats go due to water drag.

From the Chicago Air Saturday. I'm not all that crazy about the military stuff but this guy is really into it.
Still studying this building to try to get some interesting shots in the future. Lighting plays a massive part in the appeal of a building. It seems so lifeless right now without the apartment lights, but even the hint of lighting on the right makes it interesting, though I must admit the appearance on the left is quite appealing also. It's hard to choose which is the 'best' looking shot. I realise the bottom of the right-hand shot appears a bit blown out - it's very bright. I think this building could be a ripe candidate for HDR. Can't wait for the opening.
