Over 4,500 students from 100 Iowa schools participated in the annual Build My Future event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, which included hands-on learning and career exploration of skilled trades.
Students from across the state connected with business and industry in 115 hands-on activities. During the event, attendees tried out the latest equipment and technology used in skilled trades. Work-based learning activities like this can help students explore their options and find their career pathway.
Iowa Department of Education Director Ann Lebo and Teacher of the Year George Anderson joined in the activities. As a part of Signing Day, Governor Reynolds met with students and business leaders during the event and also participated in the work-based learning activities.

What a divine, creative, and gentle person. And I'm certain she is particular about her work, because she only keeps the best, :) ,,,,,.... yes Ms. Cheri?
Sherrie is definitely on my nice list.
