Chinese delegates representing universities in China came to visit Macquarie University. This was a fantastic oppurtunity to learn what sustainable intiatives are being undertaken and to exchange knowledge.

While on my trip to visit Stonehenge, Salisbury is just down the road. So I took the oppurtunity to pay a visit. I would recommend the ecellent park & ride bus serveice, which drtops you right in the heart of the city.

I Had the awesome oppurtunity to take some pics on the BentStix harbour Cruise supporting their team going to the Wellington OutGames next year.

SING! is a show put on completely by the students. Everything is left up to the students - auditions, stage design, songs, dance routines and everything else.

The competition is between the Senior-Fresh and Junior Soph. So, all the seniors and Freshmen are on one side and the Juniors and Sophmores on the other.

This is the Senior-Fresh performance. Their play was about Zeus going missing and chaos in Greece. And the energy on that stage was crazy.

And EVERYONE is given a chance. It is an awesome oppurtunity to get to know and meet new people, as cliche as that may sound.

This is a simple update from me today.

This morning, I've seen the most beautiful rainbow ever, in my life so far. I brought my camera to school today, simply to snap pictures with my friends cos high school life is ending soon :(

When I was on my way to school (in my school bus), the clouds were simply amazinggg, I TELL YOU! I was amazed by how the blue sky can mix with a group of orange fluffy clouds.

To tell you what, I think I'm very lucky today to see a HUGEEE rainbow after I reached my school compound. Well, I think everyone in school was ;) I can't stop saying HOAHHHH like really HOAHHHHHHH! (or maybe i'm just exxagerating :P )

Feeling really good, I snapped a few pictures (eventhough most of the people were staring at me, but I don't want to miss this oppurtunity!).

Honestly, this's my first time enjoying a FULL-SEMICIRCLE rainbow at such a close view. I am serious. Usually, I see very common half-rainbow from my room, which is so far away, and the fade colours of the rainbow make it very hard for me to snap a picture. Errr , you get what i mean? :)

Almost everyone in school was terrified and felt really good to see such spectacular sky. Rare things do happen you know. ;)

I took this image while visiting our local market in Leiden that's bristling with fantastic photographic oppurtunities!

Discovered a fence with barbed wire wrapped around it so took the oppurtunity, as the others were placing their encounters for other people, to experiment with my macro setting and photograph it. I personally really like this outcome.

Blackburnian Warbler

This bird was in a territorial dispute with a Black-and-white Warbler and came down to lower branches to chase him off. It gave me a rare oppurtunity to photograph this species at just above eye level.

Taking my youngest son on a trip to the national gallery so I got an oppurtunity to use the camera.

arrived at the ross island bridge about a half hour past an amazing photo oppurtunity. This shot is all I got that was decent and thats only because of the amazing colors...if the sun was still lighting the city though it could have been an amazing shot...was a beautiful sky today!

Ordered to B&Q by the gaffer this morning so took the oppurtunity to pop into the SVR and get the first Santa Special of the day,glorious weather as well

This boat is a bit of a hit and miss affair. Sometimes it's there, other times it's buried.

I took this picture in new year of last year, when I went back this year it was gone. Maybe she will be there this time, it is just a short walk from the cottages so I am sure I will get an oppurtunity to check.

As much as i hate to see caged animals, it is really great to have to oppurtunity to take photos of them. I love animals and i never get tired of snapping photos of them..they are truly magnificent!

Alicia & I jumped on the oppurtunity to have a one-on-one encounter with two tiger cubs at the Wildlife Reserve in St Augustine. It was awesome. We can now scratch that off the "bucket list".

With no Tic-Toc veg around, i got the rare oppurtunity to sample the lead droplight window of the 1100 ex Eridge throughout. The loud 25185 is opening up leaving the Groombridge slack, she is clagging nicely, the sun was beating down, the wind disturbed what little hair i have, but boy, what thrash…..fantastic!

For the past eight months i have been photographing a small place right outside Florence. In this place are about 300 people from Rumenia and have they been squatting there since in the winter of 2005. The kids are in school and the parents are working in Florence.

There are all from 4-12 people living together in one "apartment" wich is an old hospital room.

These are great people with great spirits and i am really happy of getting the oppurtunity of photographing there.

Rio+20 and was chaired by Mr. Krishna Gyawali (Secretary of Ministry of

Environment Nepal), Mr. Badri Risal (Renowned Journalist), Mr. Tej Jung

Mahat ( Representative from ICIMOD) and Ms. Kabita Gautam (Youth

Representative). The event was made interactive by 35 youth who showed

their active participants. The interaction program highlighted on the

overview of Nepal Youth Task Force on Rio+20, Recent Status of Nepal in

Rio+20, Mountain Agendas, Good Governance and Policy Implementation,

Oppurtunities for Environmental Science Students, Institutionalizing the

Mountain Initiative and organizing another conference regarding

implementation phase of Kathmandu Call for Action by Government, Why Earth

Day Celebration is essential more in case of Least Developed Countries?,

Upcoming activities organized by Nepal Youth Task Force on Rio+20.

7/20/08-- Pastor Amedeka left back to Ghana. He will be missed, but the bible says in everything rejoice! (I Thessalonians 5: 16-18) So I took the oppurtunity to take photos in a joyful rather than mournful manner and so did my comrades : )

We were orienteering with the scouts and got the job of making sure no little people wandered into this tower messing. I of course couln't miss the oppurtunity for a photo :)

A good family friend who was also the director of my choir for quite a few years got engaged recently and she asked me to do her engagement and wedding photos for her. I was really honored to have the oppurtunity to work with such a cute, nice couple. They were really easy to work with and are complete naturals infront of the camera.

wish I coud enjoy it more. this was after sleeping in one of the dryest places on earth. my advice if you ever have the oppurtunity to sleep in a tent in the desert, dont.

or atleast muscle through and then complain all you want afterwards ; )

amazing picture oppurtunity

Just took advantage of an quick oppurtunity to take some shots of this fine SLS. Wish I had more time and a better location but as it wasn't a formal photoshoot I just enjoyed the car and took some pictures. I experimented a lot on the editing so this probably won't be the norm.

Unfortunately in a few seconds she was gone so didn't get much chance to set the shot up.
