A beautiful place full of colour, fresh air and great photo oppurtunities!

A cherished project of mine to capture and document the life by the gigantic river Brahmaputra that enters India in the north-eastern frontier state of Arunachal, travels through Assam and has its confluence with the ocean in Bengal.

I have been having discussions with quite a few eminent who have been born an brought up on the banks of this river. I have just started the project as I my work has started taking me to Dibrugarh University where I have become a catalyst to empower the youth of Assam. It is a blessing.

First of the dancers who have been kind to participate are two students, Sattriya dancers, from centre of performing arts at DU - Bhagyashree Senapati and Purasmita Bordoloi; Also I had an oppurtunity to capture.a bunch of youth who do their physical training on the banks of Brahmaputra, The fishermen's village that lives on Brahmaputra

Called or Score: ?/24

So, for this theme, i wanted to do some research to see what I should do, and your probably wondering, "This looks nothing like grain."

well, this is where i got my imspiration: www.google.ca/imgres?start=157&hl=en&biw=1278&amp...

yes, those are the 2 district 9 tributes from the 74th annual Hunger Games,

so i wanted to do something with those colors, kind of metal-y, and mettalic kinda stuff, but i also wanted to add grain/wheat. so i found the closest thing to wheat and added it in. the earring around her neck looked fancy and couture and added effect so i put it on her, she is also wearing my stud earings in her ears, that surprisingly fit her

and here's the story

Story: (narrated by Winnow)

They all wanted to speak to Bise first about the chariot ride, they thought it'd be easier if they chatted to us seperatly. It's not like it would make a difference, we're going on a chariot, big deal... Ok, it is kind of a big deal, but nothing compared to the actual Hunger Games. Where all the glitz and glamour ends and the real competition begins. At least my outfit isn't as crazy as the others. It's not normal but it's not out of this world alien'esque. Thank God.

Wait a sec, not to be rude to the lord in heaven, but why should i be thanking anyone, I got chosen to go into the hunger Games, if my brain is up straight, which it is, this is not a "priveledge" or "an amazing oppurtunity", it's torture. I'd rather be poor forever then have to go through the Hunger Games and have a 1/24 chance of making it out. Ughh, whatever, i just want to go home...

Hope you like it!

I picked Riverbank State Park for my vantage point and was rewarded with three close flyby oppurtunity and the Shuttle turned on final approach to JFK right over my head. I was jumping and shouting like and 8 Year old: IT FLEW OVER MY HOUSE!

Owning an old house is cool except for all the querkiness, like the

lack of closet space. I thought if we took out the extra sinkless

vanity/changing table in the downstairs bathroom, it would give us an

oppurtunity to add some much needed closet space. So while I was at

work Tuesday, Jeff and his Dad ripped out the vanity and mirror. It

will be a nice sized downstairs closet when it's completed. Hope to

get some work done on it this weekend. Will keep you posted!

Today I had the oppurtunity to shoot a band while they where recording a demo in our studio. It was a fun shoot and I acyually felt that I learnt a lot. The light was evil, so I had to resort to B&W processing, but I really love how they came out. Still think there’s a lot I should’ve done and shot, but for a first time I’m quite pleased with the results. So was the band ;-)

Lately I've been thinking a lot about what I want to do with my life. I only have one year of high school left, then it's off into the real world. People keep telling me what I should do, or what the smarter choice would be, but who's to say that my choice wouldn't lead to better oppurtunities? I guess this photograph is really just inspired by me finally choosing to do what I think is right, rather than what others tell me is right. I'm choosing to light my own path to follow towards my future from now on.

A guest last year, two of my fav pictures from the show.

Steam Engine Number 1704 "Nunlow" with a Class 14 provided a rare oppurtunity to travel along the line from the Cement Works to near Earles Sidings.

Mile 693.2, we made it to the North Shore, and FAST! Unfortunately, we did

run into rain AGAIN!! It was only for about 10 miles, but it did give me

the oppurtunity to try out the new rain gear.... Successful, but still not

worth but I paid for those damn things! Well, we miscalculated (well I did)

and we figure that if we go straight from SB to Duluth to home, we will be

under the 1000 mile mark. I may just try to talk Ang into seeing what

Western Wisconsin has to offer and tour there. Unless of course it rains,

in which case its either straight home or extended vacation with night in

Duluth! This week has gone by so fast it's crazy! We'll see what happens

tomorrow, but with good weather, we'll be back in the Twin Cities.

Night all,

Taken at Cabela's in Michigan. Interesting place with all kinds of stuffed animals.
