Copenhagen Opera House (usually called Operaen, literally The Opera), the national opera house of Denmark, is among the most expensive opera houses ever built with construction costs well over US$500 million. It is located on the island of Holmen in central Copenhagen.
The Opera Garnier in Paris. Tried to give a somewhat aged impression of the opera especially with the post-work, but the E-PL3 struggles mightily with such low light.

雪梨歌劇院（英語：Sydney Opera House，SOH）位於澳洲雪梨，是20世紀最具特色的建築之一，也是世界著名的表演藝術中心、雪梨市的標誌性建築。該劇院設計者為丹麥設計師約恩·烏松，建設工作從1959開始，1973年大劇院正式落成。在2007年6月28日這棟建築被聯合國教科文組織評為世界文化遺產。
雪梨歌劇院坐落在雪梨港的便利朗角（Bennelong Point），其特有的帆造型，加上作為背景的雪梨港灣大橋，與周圍景物相映成趣。每天都有數以千計的遊客前來觀賞這座建築。

Inaugurated in 1973, the Sydney Opera House is a great architectural work of the 20th century that brings together multiple strands of creativity and innovation in both architectural form and structural design. A great urban sculpture set in a remarkable waterscape, at the tip of a peninsula projecting into Sydney Harbour, the building has had an enduring influence on architecture. The Sydney Opera House comprises three groups of interlocking vaulted ‘shells’ which roof two main performance halls and a restaurant. These shell-structures are set upon a vast platform and are surrounded by terrace areas that function as pedestrian concourses. In 1957, when the project of the Sydney Opera House was awarded by an international jury to Danish architect Jørn Utzon, it marked a radically new approach to construction.
The Opéra Garnier is one of the Paris National Opera's two home venues in the city. It was built from 1861 to 1875 on a commission of Napoleon III, along with the Place de l'Opéra on which the building stands, at the intersection of Boulevard des Capucines and Avenue de l'Opéra. Inaugurated as "le Nouvel opéra de Paris" (the New Paris Opera), the venue became known as the "Palais Garnier" within the first decades of its existence, acknowleding the plans and designs of its architect Charles Garnier. The Paris National Opera now uses the Palais Garnier mainly for ballet. The Palais Garnier also houses the Bibliothèque-Musée de l'Opéra de Paris (Paris Opera Library-Museum), although the Library-Museum is no longer managed by the Opera and is part of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
