雪梨歌劇院（英語：Sydney Opera House，SOH）位於澳洲雪梨，是20世紀最具特色的建築之一，也是世界著名的表演藝術中心、雪梨市的標誌性建築。該劇院設計者為丹麥設計師約恩·烏松，建設工作從1959開始，1973年大劇院正式落成。在2007年6月28日這棟建築被聯合國教科文組織評為世界文化遺產。
雪梨歌劇院坐落在雪梨港的便利朗角（Bennelong Point），其特有的帆造型，加上作為背景的雪梨港灣大橋，與周圍景物相映成趣。每天都有數以千計的遊客前來觀賞這座建築。

Chinese opera together with Greece tragic-comedy and Indian Sanskrit Opera are the three oldest dramatic art forms in the world. During the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907), the Emperor Taizong established an opera school with the poetic name Liyuan (Pear Garden). From that time on, performers of Chinese opera were referred to as 'disciples of the pear garden'. Since the Yuan Dynasty (1271 - 1368) it has been encouraged by court officials and emperors and has become a traditional art form. During the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911), it became fashionable among ordinary people. Performances were watched in tearooms, restaurants, and even around makeshift stages.

The Oaks Theater presented a night of mutilation, murder, and music with a showing of Repo! The Genetic Opera -- complete with a "Rocky Horror" style floor show from Pittsburgh's burgeoning Repo! Shadow Cast: The Night Surgeons.
Also known as Opéra Garnier. We had originally planned on going to a concert here, but it never worked out. So I only got to see the outside. I'm sure the inside is just as impressive.
Vertorama composed of two DRI/HDR blends. The HDR was tone mapped in Photomatix and the DRI was manually blended with layer masks in Photoshop. Alignment and blending done by Photoshop.
