This is one of my most dear photos.
I made this screen shot from a documentary about Ustad Amir Khan Saheb.
As you all know he is one of the greatest vocalists of India.
He was born in Indore, and spend much time with residing in Kolkata [Calcutta], India.
This photo is taken in his house in Kolkata. What you can see on this picture?
First of all you see his Ustadji's little son, sleeping under the tanpura, while Khansaheb is playing on this same tanpura and singing. You can only see his hands. More to the right down there is a tabla, the tabla player here is not visible on the photo.
Fuocus: The little boy. There was no shortage of space in Ustadji's flat in Kolkata, but why his little son was sleeping right there, in midst of his father's soothing singing and the rhytmical strokes of the tabla player?
The answer is that Ustadj'is music was not a seperate entity, but also a family member of great significance. It is not like with me, one day I will sing, the other day not. Real attachment with Indian Classical Music one can only learn from the real vocalists, who have dedicated their life and soul to the practice of Indian Classical Music and thereby flavoured the atmosphere around them, coloring the minds of openminded people and attracting and inspiring them too, to practice this wonderful and matchless giff of God to us: Indian Classical Music.
These photos are from a photo session I did many months ago with this friend of mine that trusted me enough to take pictures of her. There's a lack of openminded women in the Dominican Republic, and it's hard to find a volunteer like this one, I was lucky. Thank you C.A.
Natalie is just kind and adorable. I really enjoyed the shooting with her, because she is openminded and has a warm-hearted / sweet smile especially inbetween the shots :D
I like the daydreaming look on her face, therefore i gave her view some more room to the upper right
Sabrina Teixerra de Oliveira is the manager of a hotel in Moulins where we met during one of the first days of my holidays in France. Sabrina was open towards letting me take a couple of photos of her after telling her about my 100Strangers project.
A problem when the printer went on strike, and would not print a receipt for me was solved with great efficiency by her in seconds.

I had a few hours to burn between my sister's outward flight and my own. A 5 minute bus from the airport takes you to the metro station and cable car station you take to see NP360 Buddha. At first it was cloudy and not particularly beautiful. After a few hours to sun came out in full force. This neighborhood 2km from HK's airport offers tall sterile housing and plentiful shopping aimed at day trippers from the Mainland. The first time I visited this neighborhood I was surprised at how sterile it was, but after seeing so many local people out for walks and enjoying their time out it seems like it might be a cool place to live. I should be more openminded.

May I present to you, a dear friend: She is a business women, she has her own school for poetry for children, intelligent, no nonsense, into politics (green party of course) openminded, raising without any problems her two children on het own. Smart, friendly. To make her life a bit easyer she has her housekeeper, to clean the house.
It is hard to believe the first Gay Pride March in Northampton was 25 years ago. The March is just one more reason to love the city of Northampton. Besides great shopping, galleries and cafes, you have a wonderful acceptance of diversity of all kinds.
