I know there's a lot of pics of Chance and I together in bed lately, but that's important - we are protecting each other.
Our Katie is away for reasons she beyond her control, so Chance and I take care of each other and wait for Our Katie to return.
It's taken both of us to fill in the roles for each other that one Katie Parx did.
We also keep each other grounded and feel loved because we do love each other.
Hobbes is of course being a "Very Brave and Handsome Tiger" between us. He makes sure we both are safe...he's also a cuddle slut ;-)
We are protected from the storm. We shelter in place until Our Katie returns...
When her sunshine comes back into our lives.
The cabin is our safe sanctuary and we need it so we can be close and caring in safety until that time.

Chance and I have become amazing friends. For AGES I have wanted to step out on friend date with her and FINALLY we got to!
We went to Fogbound because the music is good, the dance machines always updated and the place crowded enough that nobody knows us.
She wore the sweetest dress, so I wore the swankiest slacks and we just danced the night away.
Both of us have had experiences there with people who later didn't do right by either of us, so us, together there, rewrote over allll the bad as we made some good memories together.
Also I got to dip her. A lot ;-)

This is an episcopal church in Upton, Massachusetts. I happened upon it this morning while dropping my son off at paintball camp for the day. I thought it was wonderful.
I love that I have my special pixel world back. I love even more that I have amazing people to share it with me.
When I get to DJ, time flies as we are all having fun, but in the end, time here is eternal. We never age, we get to be as our Mindseye shows us to be.
Tonight my Mindseye took my friends on a wild ride through some wonderful olde skool hip hop and dance music. My friends held on tight and all just rode in the flow together.
I missed being myself and being free in this world...

There's been some changes at the Red Rum Revue over the summer and to kick the new season of dancing off as we dive into fall, we held our first Formal Soiree!
Much fun was had as we invited our Red Rum Family - patrons and staff alike - to put on their best gowns and tuxedos to dance the night away!
Music used in the Red Rum's history of over 200 shows was played during the event. It led to smiles at the memories of the many shows held in Second Life's oldest and longest running Burlesque Theater!
We (the dancers) get back to the business of practising "The Art of The Tease" in our unique Vaudeville "Rough and Tumble" style on Saturday, October 5th at 7pm SLT. Doors open at 6:30!
The Formal was a nice and welcome change up for an evening of all involved in the frolicking and fun! We'll do it again sooner rather then later!

I have been spending time with Chance - my dearest Katie's eldest daughter - while our lovely Katie is away. Chance herself has a lovely daughter of her own - Charlotte.
I am not a member of the Parx family, but they sure go out of their way to take care of me as I push to take care of them until Katie Parx gets back.
Charlotte is an extremely dear girl so devoted to her mother and Nan. She's very polite, charming and sweet - a very good girl in the best of ways.
As you know, Chance often crashes over with me and it has been lovely. We care for each other as loving friends and now? Now I love that Charlotte feels welcome and comfortable enough around me to do the same.

I have been lucky to have been around some amazing names in SL in the DJ world who just suddenly sparked and rocket off bright like fireworks, being lifted quickly by clubs, festivals through their talent and hard work. I can count on one hand how many though over the last decade.
Good thing I have another hand as there will be one more number to count soon...
DJ Asaria Obscure played right through my soul last night. She worked her butt off even though it was just us and I haven't LITERALLY shaked it like that since *smiles*...well... awhile :-)
The icing on the cake is she is an AMAZING PERSON as well and when I anchored so we could just float as she played? We got to talk. :-)
I like this girl a lot.

She hadn't been to Calas Galadhon Park before. Our BESt gowns were the order of the day and we had one of the pavilions to ourselves in the gorgeous sims

I married two drag racers in SL. Never marry a girl who will chose her car over you. Both did. Narcissism personified with them both.
I myself like to drive, fly (also in RL! - test pilot in SL with an airspeed record!), sail (also in RL!) and DJ from a Submarine in SL (it's true!), but I NEVER let any of that take precedence over my loved ones. Family and Friends over Fuel and Fire.
I love vintage. I love being able to dress how I want here, own what I wish and explore where I will. I love the freedom that SL can give me.

Our Katie came back. She has had real life hit her like a tsunami and she can feel like she is drowning in it, but she swam back and we all threw ourselves into the water after her - all of her loves to lift our girl out of the turbulent waters and to the safety of our embrace, pulling to safe shores - to home.
I got to hold my pretty neko babygirl as she spoke of what had transpired. I squeezed tight as she rested on my soft shoulder and told me of the dark storms she has had to navigate...
She sailed through darkness with little light as the sights and sounds of fury as she was forced to navigate through hurt, through grief and through real pain, they hurt her...
I wish I could take all of her pain away so much...I wouldn't hesitate a second. No one in her family would.
All of her in world family...the one that now accepts me in as me and loves to love and be loved - just like Our Katie - came home or tuned in to tell her how they loved her, how they missed her, how glad they were she was with us...
Friends of the family came too as her influence with love is so very wide.
We all reassured her that she should never fear losing us for we know she can't change the weather she passed through, even if we all wanted it too.
We always want to sail with her. We wanted her to know we are safe harbour for her.
She meant to stay but briefly, but briefly turned to hours as we all cuddled close to her, sharing our love, expressing our joy and making sure she knows we are all there for her.
Now, in the quiet of the night, the pretty Neko and the Fae cuddle and embrace so that Katie keeps Katie warm.

Ms Isa Rae? We've in a short time been through some extreme good times, but also some extreme times.

Madeline Gibson and I are going to try to get back on track with the alphabet project before I graduated next year. I really enjoyed taking photos. It seems amazing that this Catholic church is still in use between all the mosques, but the Kurdish people are very openminded when it comes to religion. Besides this Chaldean Catholic Church St Antoine, also the Syriac Orthodox Virgin Mary Church is still in use (with only 30 in its congregation.)

This is another of the 124 pictures of 148 I had up that Flickr's servers ate for reasons unknown. A team of 6 spent three days there finding them all for me. The jouranl with each it gone - the song, the story...but the image remains and I can speak of it still as I put it back into where it belongs - in my own memories proper.
In this memory, I was dating Bevvie at the time. She was an up and coming DJ while I was plying my trade and still lower rung, but I knew who she should talk to and talk to she did. She got into better clubs. She was also picked up and taught by a talented girl and practiced, practiced, practiced!
Bev and I LOVED cuddling each night and listening to her sets when we could that she had uploaded to the web for all to enjoy. I would try to find unique and romantic places to listen to them again with her - like my hot tub with a built in web TV ;-)
I could pick out as she did her changes with her mixing and she loved that. She is probably the best scratcher in Second Life now hands down. You wanna work a bassline? She will MAKE the bassline and then rework it into magic... live...
We did part ways, but we are still friends and she is simply one amazing DJ. I am happy for her success. She deserves it.
She was a nice girl. She still is. I miss those intimate listening sessions though, but here is one as a wonderful memory :-)

This free expressive art is not for everyone....In the monumental stairwell between the ground floor and the first floor of the Bleijenburg building, the competing calls of the work Tender like…/Strong like…/Hold me like… by Noor Johanna Remmen (MA Artistic Research) and Shelter by Lotus Rooijakkers (BA fine art). Thematically, the works have little in common. With their performance (made in collaboration with Zeynep Yilmaz, Shana de Villiers, Tingyi Jiang and Aleksandra Komsta), Remmen deconstructs the concept of intimacy and looks for new ways to build queer communitiesI only notice the way in which both artists focus on the color red when I walk up the stairs between the two floors. Below me I see Remmen lying naked and thoughtful in red liquid on two red-stained duvets. Next to them is one of the assistants who sticks her finger into Remmen's navel, who takes it out again and licks it off.
One of the more esoteric turns at the Edinburgh Fringe maybe? Dinny Bdaft was busking on the Scotsman Stairs which link the now Scotsman Hotel with the south entrance to Waverley station on Market Street.
Dinny's bio: Dinny Bdaft" is what his mum has always called him! ‘Can you NO just be NORMAL like everyone else, she says’. Ha Ha. I currently play traditional, catchy well known Scottish Songs on my new Tartan Squeezebox, which is called ‘Braveheart’. I have several unique diatonic accordions in musical different keys. Might be interested in forming a wee band to play other genres as well, Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, Folk, Irish, Punk, Whatever etc. Ideally, looking for a drummer, fiddler or scrubboard/washboard player! And a YES girlfriend too! lol
My current objective: Connect and play with other like minded folk, involved in the Scottish Independence Scene, gain more experience performing live and professionally record a few songs worthy of You Tube publication etc. Maybe, make a compilation C.D. of Scottish Songs. Just going with the positive energy ‘YES’ flow, for now. But yeah, anything is possible!'Openminded.

My Katie whispered on late into the night and sashayed her way into my little burlesque club, "The Red Rum Revue" for a quiet visit with our family who had gathered there.
Soon though, it was just her and I upon my stage's historic "Round", dressed only as we were but dancing closely together, arms wrapped tightly around each other as the music started to play from the jukebox by the bar.
We exchanged sweet nothings, soft thoughts and gentle reassurances to each other as we stayed close together, just slowly swaying, softly kissing and just... being together,,,
Our time with each other may be limited by circumstances beyond our control Ms Parx, but our time together when it happens is magical and I feel "at home" so much with you.
