I never really looked inside since I bought this set of expired films this winter :) Time to investigate it and choose some I'll take :)
Fagerhult Open Box, a luminaire that creates new coherence in the room. Drawing attention away from the light source, out into the blue. A classic combination of direct and indirect light. The body sets off the design - the open and the closed. The strength of the contrast is determined by the colour you choose: grey or black. You have the view. Frame it!

My current set up. It's a bit cramped but functional. I sold my PC to raise money for a trip as well as my other laptops. So I'm stuck using ol' Faithful for a bit :)

OpenBox is the Window Manager.
I use XChat for IRC, Pidgin for IM, Terminator for my shell, GEdit for text editor, links2 in graphics mode for my browser unless I have to have JavaScript, in which case I fire up Midori.
I read eBooks on it using Calibre's viewer app. Works surprisingly well for ePub and PDFs and what not.
Over all, as long as I watch what I'm doing, the laptop runs great for its specs. I usually have at least two instances of links2 running, an ssh session, a terminal open, file manager, pidgin with at least one chat, and xchat with 6 channels open, going at all times.

Openbox with pypanel, gmrun for run dialog, pcfman managing the desktop. I used a wallpaper to give the appearance of a bar at the bottom...pypanel is there actually managing things, but it's totally transparent. Used the gray background to show contrast for the bar. I have a fully transparent png of the background.

A photograph from back when I was in the US. Went to Hoboken skatepark in the afternoon and stayed out 'til sunset to try out some fish eye shots with the flash. Curtain exposure is so unpredictable but thats what I love about it. Always get a unique effect.

After running a livedvd of #! (crunchbang linux) i liked it's openbox look so much that I tried to emulate it on my mint machine. This is fairly close to the #! look, although I made a few changes to suit my own style, including the tint2 panel arranged vertically, a few minor changes to the conky system monitor/display utility. Performance is top shelf, although I believe #! has a modded openbox package included with their distro.
