The weather forecast predicted fog so I got up really early to be there for sunrise. I was lucky. There was a soft sunrise over the beautiful meadows next to the river Ruhr.

This grave rests between four large cedar trees. It's really quite unique and a very beautiful location.

 

I needed to leave a tint of color in this. It just "worked" better this way.

 

I'm really enjoying the tone mapping technique. Add a dash of sepia tone. Et Voila! Images that come closer what what I've _wanted_ to create than I've ever come in 40 years of clicking a shutter.
