Trees that fell like this tree are dangerous to remove therefore they are referred to as widow makers by forest workers.

And he has introduced me to an open source editor called Raw Therapee (works on Mac, Windows, Linux).

This is a bollard outside the town hall that I shot in RAW and developed with Raw Therapee. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Thought about cropping this to minimise the shiny new road stealing thunder from the big rock thingies you may or may not notice in the distance.

I went out to one of my favorite spots on a dark night to try out star photography with a new lens. (Samyang 14mm f/2.8)

A small drainage canal alongside the river Ruhr. Usually there is lots of duckweed during the warm months.

On this evening the sunset produced very vibrant colors.

I put a little light behind this group of mushrooms to make them glow :-)

I went out really early, down to the river Ruhr and took this image of a lone tree on the other shore.
