The entire thing started with a stick in the pond/ditch on Highway 65 between mile marker 101 and 102, that looks like a turtle. Every time we go past Joanne would say, "Look a Turtle!" I told her I will put a big yellow rubber ducky out there so she knows it's a stick and it all just took off from there.
As the crescent moon sets over the old Gold Medal Flour mill, the city lights fill the Mississippi with color as it slowly rolls past the iconic Stone Arch Bridge.

View of Lake Superior from inside the Lakeview Shelter (originally known as the Lakefront Refectory) at Gooseberry Falls State Park in Castle Danger, Minnesota, north of Two Harbors. The shelter was built in 1935-36 at a cost of $2,049.72.
This and several other historic structures in the park were constructed in the mid to late 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), a part of the New Deal program that was designed to get men back to work during the Great Depression.
